A computer was born at the intersection of science and human intelligence. The computer is the greatest invention in the history of human civilization. With the advent of the computer, how to use a computer is a problem, the first way is using DOS to send instructions to the computer. Then, in order to use computer more efficiently, people created the computer operating system. By visualizing an icon, a clean and simple operating environment can be used to operate computers more efficiently and perform more complex tasks. The operating system also has different kinds of functions. The paper is to analyze the different kinds of operating systems. Current notebook platforms are Windows, Mac OS, Linux. Microsoft Windows 1.0 was introduced in 1985, Mac OS 7.6 was officially named in 1997, and Linux was introduced in 1991.
