Confucianism and Modern World
Today, when the Planet is continuously aggravated conflicts and crises, not only China need the teachings of Confucianism but the whole world. Such a consensus reached by scientists from 22 countries and regions gathered in the hometown of the ancient Chinese sage Confucius Qufu Shandong, when participated in the World Congress of Confucianism.(Russian.people 2008) In modern society, Confucianism should not only serve the spiritual guidance of the Chinese nation, but also to play a decent role in promoting world peace, enhancing moral qualities of humanity, diversity and general prosperity of the world culture and the equality of the world's religious directions. In this essay I would like to show some reasons why modern world needs the ancient china’s policy.
Society is changing and the norms its adopted morality changes consequently. Human values remain, but its understandings are now different comparatively, however, it is often said that it is regarded as very crucial element of social adjustment towards conditions of society life that is changing . In our modern society, some of the basic social values are the same as many years ago, but their understanding has changed dramatically. Human behavior, which …show more content…

There also other factors such as people who does not know what the human values really are, and to some extent we have sacrificed the importance of moral values in exchange for their acceptance as a "social stabilizers".
