The third learning type is Visual, this can include graphs, charts, diagrams, etc. Learning something literally by seeing the big picture in front of you. Personally, I love seeing the big picture, and honestly I don’t know anyone that doesn’t. When I am trying to put together something, for example hooking up a Wi-Fi I want to not only be able to read the instructions off the pamphlet, but I want to be able to see step by step picture examples. The fourth learning style is Read or Write, and this can consist of lists and notes.
Colonial art includes the paintings, sculptures, and artifacts, both Catholic and secular, produced in Guatemala during the Colonial period (1524-1821).12 To understand how Guatemalan Colonial art came to exist, it is first necessary to introduce some aspects of the history of the country. Guatemala is a country very rich in history and culture.13 Before the discovery of America and the arrival of the Spanish conquistadores, Guatemala was the epicenter of the Mayan civilization that flourished 2,000 years ago.14 All over Guatemala there are vestiges of the Mayan civilization:' 5 in the highlands stand the ruins of ceremonial and fortress cities,' 6 and, in the northern region of Pet6n, the city of Tikal stands out as one of the most important
Response Paper 1 Justin Chau For my research paper, I am going to two about two types of art throughout certain time periods in history. What I am going to compare and differentiate are types of art within the Prehistoric time period, and the Roman time period. Within time periods in general, there are artworks that are relevant throughout their existing time period, and picked up later in future generations, where people can learn about their past cultures and various types of art. For the first time period, the Prehistoric period, it includes the Paleolithic culture and its art. It is divided into three parts.
Using items such as “gauges, tongs, punches, needles, ladles, hammers, ink balls, knives, stamps, saws, awls, bits, rules, hooks, compasses, chisels, spoke shaves, lasts, blockheads, gouges, shuttles, planes, clamps, [and] squares” (Barbour, 2008, para. #1) carpenters of this time would fashion the Wainscot Chair. Some of these tools may be seen below in Image D. These craftsman formed new American centers for making furniture that began to establish very credible works (Ray-Degges, 2013). These colonists had to be self-supporting, and that meant they had to make, grow, or hunt for anything they would use in the construction of furniture making.
It is noteworthy that although elites did have more and finer collection of foreign goods in their houses, they didn’t have exclusive access to any particular kind of artifact(Smith 2005, 94). As for craft production,
Daily quilts, pieced wholes without a defined pattern had a direct address to women who were considered as Alien due to their endless fashionable desires. The first craft was symbolism that represents how the roses were the main symbol in the story as a connection between Miss Strangeworth and the people. Another craft was revealing actions from taking a statement that when Miss Strangeworth treats her “roses” cruelly, she will soon get that back. Finally, the third author’s craft was inner thinking from taking what Miss Strangeworth says about the people and how she is trying to get rid of their evil. Jackson restates all of those crafts many times throughout the story showing how the people used to be Miss Strangeworth’s
Writing process is difficult to realize since it requires a lot of skills and knowledge. Definitely, not many of us can start writhing right away without having any problems such as grammar, vocabulary or organization. However, a person can become a better writer if he or she will practice writing every day and will pay attention to his writing problems. To become a good writer, I have to improve my grammar, follow specific steps in writing process, and avoid using similar transitional words. Grammar is the number one problem in the writing process and causes me a lot of issues.

Introduction Visual and performing arts tend to act as separate entities within the field of education; considerably isolated from the majority of academia, these sectors are often considered to be secondary or elective options after completing primary education. The arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education, however, when an institute begins a budgeting process, the arts are rarely considered a top priority. For example, during periods of recession many public schools within the United Stated were forced to cut visual, performing and musical arts programs, despite studies that proved the exposure to the arts to be beneficial for students both academically and in extracurricular activities. Learning in an art-infused environment
Writing is not just about coming up with ideas and jotting them down on paper saying that it is your story because if it is then it is half done, and readers would not want to read what you have to say about how you feel on an experience that you have explored. Writing is about going through experiences and jotting those experiences down on paper and putting them in order so that the reader can understand what experiences you went through to get to the point that you have come to. Writing is a way to write you feel and to make it easy so that you do not have to speak what is on your mind. In my opinion writing can be my favorite thing to do because I like to write but when it comes to me speaking, I get nervous and do not know what to say when I get in front of a crowd. Writing can also be a way to get out of things such as if you want to break up with someone, tell your parents something that is bad that you do not want to tell them in person, talk to a doctor in a message just in case if your friends are
The Cavite Mutiny of 1872 Philippine’s early history has been a series of colonization, revolution, and freedom with Spain as the first colonizers who occupied the Philippines for over 300 years. Every 12th of June since 1898, we, Filipinos, celebrate our Independence Day. In 1896, because of our desire to break free from the grasp of the abusive Spanish colonizers, a revolution broke out. It is thru this revolution that June 12 became a special day. However, another year merits our attention – the historic year of 1872 which is the year of the Cavite Mutiny.
Descriptive Essay I have never thought that drawing would help me out in life until I tried it. The interest started when I was in second grade when I saw one of my best friends drawing. I am thankful for her, she is the one who taught me to be patient and practice makes perfect. It gets a little frustrating and overwhelming when your interest is there, but you are not good at it.

The Philippines has always had a rich musical history. It takes its roots from the indigenous tribes of the Philippines, who used it as a way to pass on epics and stories about gods and heroes, a way to celebrate good harvests, festivals, weddings and births, a way to mourn the dead, to court women, and a way to praise the gods. This music was then enriched by the Philippines’ western colonizers. The Spaniards imparted the zarzuela (called sarswela in the Philippines) and the rondalla, adding more Spanish touches to Filipino folk songs. The Americans, on the other hand, influenced the Philippine music scene by introducing pop and rock, eventually leading to the creation of “Pinoy pop”, which included a wide variety of forms like dance tunes, ballads, rock n’ roll, disco, jazz, and rap.
