Cyberbullying is when someone is hurting or maybe even threatening another person through emails, text messages, or through social media. It is an important issue that is making going to school or even just living a lot harder for the person being attacked. But it is starting to become hard to tell when to draw the line, many people may hurt others online but when should it be considered as bullying? When should a student be criminally charged? I believe that if someone is found hurting another peer or threatening others severely than they should be criminally charged. They should be charged because they are responsible for everything they say online, cyberbullying is also getting out of hand and should be taken more seriously, and I think that the only way to make kids stop using technology to hurt others is by teaching them a lesson and showing them the consequences.

It can be difficult to determine whether if someone should be considered a cyberbully or just a student who said something rude. It also might be a waste of time trying to prosecute every cyberbully when they might just end up not making a difference. Though I agree with these statements I still think that prosecuting students will help in ending cyberbullying.
In conclusion, I think that students should be prosecuted for cyberbullying because students should be held accountable for everything they say even if it was through text or through a post. They should also see that cyberbullying in an important problem that should be ended, and lastly students should see the consequences that come when you hurt others. Should Schools Monitor Students Social Media!?!? Have you ever showed up at school and had a friend or classmate tell you about a rumor directed towards you? I think schools should monitor students social media posts but, only if there seems to be problems occurring and disrupting the class. Cyberbullying can lead to low self esteem and depression, causing worse things. Document E, document B and, document D all agree with limiting/monitoring students online speech.
