Discourse on the method, by Desecrate is a famous philosophical book, which focuses on doubting, certainty and existence. In his book, Desecrate constantly shifts from doubting to certainty. Although Descartes believes that everything can be doubted he finds ways to became certain of his existence mainly through quote “Cogito, ergo sum”, which means, “I think, therefore I exist”. Despite this phrase is one of the best in the world, and many people rushed to Descartes says, I see that it doesn’t have much significance as people think, he did not come up with any thing new.

As we said because he is lost he has many ways to try to find his ways so he start doubting his sense, dreams and mind to reach to the truth then he start thinking to reach existence.

The phrase “ I think therefore I exist “ is a phrase used by multiple philosopher. Which mean or leads us that we can doubt in everything except ourselves, except the “I”. He linked the two words with “therefore” because on word depends on the other; it is link building if we have done the first think you may go to the next. It relationship is like cause then we have an effect, or action give us a result.
Returning to Descartes we will find he uses I pronoun, which mean individuality, he didn’t us you think or we think he said “I”. When I say, “ I think “ the (I) directly proved the existence of my self so I provided the cogito without completing the rest of the sentence. So I believed in the existence of I. And I believed it would full convince in my existence, so we don’t need to have a proof for it.
