By our sides, dogs have been around for centuries. The relationship between dogs and humans has changed over time. This caused for dogs to evolve and become pets to humans. Dogs have joined many families around the world as their pets. Other words for dogs are canines and hounds. Wolves evolved into dogs and became close to humans. At one time in the time, dogs were workers for humans and were not allowed inside homes because of their unpleasant smell and dirty image. Life, without dogs was hard for humans living in the past because dogs did not exist to help with work and wolves did not yet care about humans and their needs. Dogs started of as wolves living during the Ice age and being one of the many threats to humans. Humans realized that wolves were good for protection and scared off other dangerous threats. Wolves stayed close to humans and changed. They were well suited to live along the side of humans but not inside homes. They were then used for work but also other uses. Veterinarians started to create medicines and cures for diseases that dogs may carry and effect us. People realized that dogs were not only good for accomplishing tasks but also helping with challenges, health, and for stress relieving. They soon became pets and were welcomed in the many homes of families and individual people. People have gone as far as to spend money for costumes and clothes for their pet. They have a strong desire to try and understand in order to see what they can do to help or please us. As seen dogs have a long history and humans were involved in the making of it, their relationship changed for the better and has caused for humans to a companion. As for people these days desire to have of a young mutt with them more than anything else, well at least for some people.
