The four basic philosophical reasons for sentencing are retribution, deterrence, incapacitation and rehabilitation. Retribution philosophy is defined as a philosophical that those who commit criminal acts should be punished based on the severity of the crime and that no other factors are to be considered during sentencing. Deterrence philosophy reason for sentencing is defined as a philosophy that crime can be prevented through the threat of punishment. Incapacitation philosophy is defined as a philosophy that crime can be prevented by detaining wrongdoers in prison thereby separating them from the community and reducing criminal opportunities. Finally rehabilitation philosophy is defined as the philosophy that society is best served when offenders are provided the resources to get rid of criminal activity from their daily behavior patterns. Retribution just holds the severity of the crime against the guilty and is aimed at pleasing the society as whole party rather than just the victim/s. Deterrence uses other criminals as examples for the community to be discouraged from crime. There are two types of deterrence, general deterrence is punishing one person that has committed a crime,
It is time, at last, to speak the truth about human trafficking which is an important topic on El Salvador. The goal here is to make people reflex about this problem, that if it’s not happening in your country it doesn't mean it’s not happening somewhere else, and grabbing your attention by talking about the laws against this issue, the favourite one in this chain: Salvadoran girls and woman and finally, the principals gangs of Human Trafficking.
Since the invasion of Iraq by the U.S. and its allies, a wide political disturbance has occurred in the Middle East. As a result, Iraq witnessed a strong resistance movement to occupation forces, and a terrible civil war. Also, since then, people of some other Arab countries such as Tunis, Egypt, Yemen, and Syria revolted against their corrupt and failed regimes. As expected, terrorists took advantage of this political environment.
Drugs are a way of life in some countries. Afghanistan is the leading producers of opium. The “Golden Triangle” is what some call the biggest opium crops known. (H. Warlord) Therefore, a lot of different individuals need to be involved in order to maintain the opium growth.

Canada has been one of the twelve original members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) since it was founded in 1949, a few years after the end of World War 2 and at the beginning of an almost nuclear disaster known as the Cold War. This intergovernmental military alliance initially made up of the United States, Canada and Western European nations (Belgium, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and the United Kingdom) plays a significant role to secure international peace and has become the heart of Canadian security and defence policy. Canada is very proud to have contributed to every NATO operation since the founding of this organization more than sixty years ago, proving the commitment
activities, the more efficient will be the outcome of separate events. The trafficking of dangerous drugs is not a local issue but rather national and international in scope. Drug trafficking groups and organizations do not limit their actions to any particular geographic boundary. Intelligence gathering and distribution to assist in identifying all levels of criminal trafficking organization are necessary for coordination and to stop duplication of effort. Accordingly, various federal, state, and local agencies have joined forces on national as well as regional levels, to achieve better results. (Office of National Drug Control Policy)

In my personal opinion, I do believe a forced internment could occur again. Hypothetically speaking, if the candidate Donald Trump would become the next president of 2017-2021their would be a possibility. Within his campaigned he has mentioned that he would consider requiring Muslim-Americans to register with a government database, or worse, mandating that they carry special identification cards that note their faith according to CNN.com. Similar to the Nazi Laws of 1938-1942, that required all Jews to wear a gold star of David on their clothes. On December 6 of 2015 president, Obama did declare a war against a terrorist group called Isis. Isis controls most of the territories of the Middle East such as the countries; Iraq, Syria&Libya.

Out of the $10 billion annually exported by the drug cartels, $4.6 billion of the profits were exports sent to the United States. According to a report released by Business Insider, about 90 percent of the cocaine used by American’s originate from Colombia. On September 11, 2001 American lives were changed forever. With the attack of the World Trade Center being only one of the many attacks plotted by the Taliban on U.S. soil. After thirteen long years of fighting, the Taliban finally declared their defeat to the U.S. While many believed peace was finally possible, a bigger group was on the rise. Thought to come from similar Taliban beliefs, the rise of ISIS was born. In the time frame of sixteen years, what started as a small rebellious group in Iraq and Syria has now grown into a large fighting force dedicated to spreading their beliefs with brutal violence posing a concern to the whole nation.
Religious terrorism - is the most dangerous form of terrorism based on religious fanaticism. This phenomenon threatens not only the Middle East but also States that are far beyond the areas traditionally associated with the religion of the Prophet. (Mozaffari 2005, pp.34-36). One of the key actors in the Middle East was Osama bin Laden. With vast resources, bin Laden financed the Taliban. The main goal of bin Laden - the creation of a worldwide Islamic state, so it helps all associates worldwide. Christians are seen as colonizers and Muslims - the victims.
Anup Shah writes about the civil war in Sierra Leone with the government on one side and the rebels (the RUF) on the other. The Revolutionary United Front (RUF) was once a respectable organization but soon turned corrupt and called many governments corrupt and incapable of managing diamond resources. The same war Sierra Leone had fought against the RUF had happened in Kosovo before. But, this one had 25 more times the amount of death with worse cruelties and less media coverage. The governments and UN tried to make a peace deal, but it failed because the rebels would have been given amnesty for their human rights violations. The rebels mined for diamonds many times and sold them to companies and individuals to buy weapons. They then banned
