The climatic conditions of Hong Kong changes adversely and therefore affecting the eco-tourism industry significantly. Hong Kong experiences four distinguishable climatic seasons including; warm and humid spring, hot and rainy summer, sunny autumn, cool and dry winter. Hong Kong is not ideal for tourist visits for several months in a year apart from the beginning of October up to the festive season of Christmas. This is due to the tropical cyclones of varying strengths and thunderstorms of between the months of May to November. The typhoons of the September are also a set back to the eco-tourism industry in Hong Kong. Tourists should not go out when the level of the typhoon is level 3 to being swept away. In addition, the tourists should remain indoors although when the typhoon levels are reported higher than 3. Moreover, all the banks, shops among many other businesses remain closed when the level of the typhoon are indicated as high as level 8. During the spring, Hong Kong experiences daily temperatures of about 18-25 degree centigrade. Constant drizzling accompanied by fog are also evident in most hours of the day.
