The climatic conditions of Hong Kong changes adversely and therefore affecting the eco-tourism industry significantly. Hong Kong experiences four distinguishable climatic seasons including; warm and humid spring, hot and rainy summer, sunny autumn, cool and dry winter. Hong Kong is not ideal for tourist visits for several months in a year apart from the beginning of October up to the festive season of Christmas. This is due to the tropical cyclones of varying strengths and thunderstorms of between the months of May to November. The typhoons of the September are also a set back to the eco-tourism industry in Hong Kong. Tourists should not go out when the level of the typhoon is level 3 to being swept away. In addition, the tourists should remain indoors although when the typhoon levels are reported higher than 3. Moreover, all the banks, shops among many other businesses remain closed when the level of the typhoon are indicated as high as level 8. During the spring, Hong Kong experiences daily temperatures of about 18-25 degree centigrade. Constant drizzling accompanied by fog are also evident in most hours of the day. Hong Kong turns to be a little cold during this spring
(Caputo, 118) Other challenges regarding Vietnam’s climate were the sun and the hot temperature. When the canopy cover of the jungle was not dense, perhaps due to clearing of certain areas, the sun was harsh. Caputo writes, “It is an extremely hot day, hotter than any we have yet experienced. We have been told that the temperature is over one hundred and ten degrees, but the figure is meaningless. The cruelty of this sun cannot be measured by an

Summer equals no school, friends, and tans. Increase of temperature obviously comes with summer but the increase of temperature is not always seen as a good thing when it starts to deteriorate the world. “Less fresh water will be available. If the Quelccaya ice cap in Peru continues to melt at its current rate, it will be gone by 2100, leaving thousands of people who rely on it for drinking water and electricity without a source either”(“Effects of Global Warming”). If society wants to continue to kill the earth so their future kin can live in a more damaged place than it was left with, go ahead.
If you get a warm spring day the sugar maple will start to produce sap. If the next day is cold the sugar maple will not produce sap. If the weather gets too warm the sugar maple’s system will get shut down. The
During the week, temperatures would hit over 100°F. I continuously complained that it was too hot out. But I survived the week and on my
Some park broachers even mention that some park features and or activities are only available in certain seasons. During the winter, Yosemite is cold and wet. Around seventy percent of the year’s precipitation falls between November and March, as snow. In autumn, the snow is usually light and melts quickly but around November the floor is cold enough for the snow to accumulate. At higher elevations around Yosemite, snow fall can occur earlier.
Although the weather differs from north to south, all areas receive a large amount of precipitation. Heavily influenced by the Pacific Ocean, winters are severe and summers are moderate. Further south, there is less precipitation than up north. All year round, the temperature is often low.
Each chapter plays a role in the development of climates around the world. Temperature, air pressure, and winds all play their individual role in each location's own climate. Weather is our short-term while climate is long-term so these correspond with each other. Forecasting of these two is connected yet very different at the same time.
Although this storm has broken many records, it also caused catastrophic events. In anticipation
Undoubtedly, there are many factors that can impact temporal patterns as illustrated in the climographs. Both of the cities is located in a different part of the world and experiences different climates. Each of the cities have very different geographical layouts and factors that affect temperature and precipitation throughout the year. In Toronto, Canada climate is moderate with warm humid summers and generally cold winters. The climate in Toronto, Canada is moderate due to its southerly location within the country and its proximity to Lake Ontario.
Global warming has had an undeniable effect on the Qinghai - Tibetan plateau, which is the source of water for the yellow and the yangtze
It is sometimes refer to as the season of non-travel because the roads become risky for travel purposes. During the dry season much of the surface water dries and the animal have to find source of unceasing water. On the other hand, there are four seasons in America; autumn (fall), winter, Spring and Summer. During the spring it is sometimes warm and at some point chilly. In the summer it is always hot and sunny.
IDENTIFY AND RESEARCH A TOURISM ATTRACTION Introduction Tourism has experienced continued growth and extensive diversification and competition on the last decades, becoming one of the fastest growing economic sectors in the world and by consequence, one of the main income sources for many developing countries. “Every time we travel we are part of a global movement that has the power to drive inclusive development, to create jobs and to build the sustainable societies we want for our future,” says the actual UNWTO¹ Secretary General, Taleb Rifai. “This movement also contributes to build mutual understanding and to safeguard our shared natural and cultural heritage,” he completes. A sustainable and responsible approach to tourism means that neither the natural environment nor the socio-cultural organisation of the host communities would be compromised by the arrival of tourists.
It is somehow hard for us to discover the beauty of nature in Hong Kong, the hustle and bustle city. Only when we put the work or stress away temporarily, can we truly feel how beautiful the place we are living is. As a pessimistic person, I often get stressed easily. Usually I would put myself in a quiet place, away from the crowds and the hardship I am facing. Tai Po Waterfront Park is the place that cheers me up.
