Today, nobody is able to predict with any degree of certainty or accuracy what our society will look like in the future. Engineers have a role in planning our society’s future and makes our society better. Engineers from the past had planned for today technology and they had done a good job because today technology makes our life better but still there are certain error that cannot be solved. So, engineers in this era have to think new solutions that help our communities. The main topic is how can engineers make a significant contribution to society ten, twenty or forty years into the future.
Firstly, engineers can work together to create a new technology. This is an important thing because from years to years, people asked for a new technology that makes them better in their life. Sometimes, the problem that have to be fixed regularly are costly and this can makes a country have to spend the money only to fix the problem and not to develop the country. The cost to fix any technology are not cheap compare to other problems because we need to find the source of the problems. Maybe the things we need to fix the problem need to import from other country. So, engineers have to study more about the latest technology, find or get the solutions from other engineers that have more experience and discuss together with other engineers because engineers work in team. If the engineers already find the solution, this will give the society benefit towards their life. This is what the society expect from the engineers and engineers have to do their work for them. The solutions that have been found by the engineer maybe can last long for 20 years and this will make them to study the problem form time to time to get a better
