Fun and Colorful Dances, Groovy music, and the creative and interesting operas. These are all part of the fun entertainment out there in China! Acrobats and more have been performing since around 500 BC in China. Back then it was only a few cents to go watch Operas and people could have snacks while they watched. The Beijing Opera has been in history for over 200 years! The “lion dance” used to be even more older, It was introduced in 220-280 BC, The lion dance is a dance that represents power, wisdom and good fortune. Although some people may say that entertainment is to bland in China but actually they are wrong since China has very interesting and colorful plays, many hit movies, and groovy music. John Zhang, The entertainment industry is growing very fast in China and it grows 17% every year since 2011. The guesses for the growth of entertainment are also very high. Since this many people watch these movies in China it makes them the 2cd country that sells the most tickets in the world. Because 17% China’s film industry grows every year it will at one point possibly rise to the top leaving america to 2cd, then that would make the Chinese industry even more popular than it was before. Additionally, according to Gordon Orr “Many sectors of the Chinese entertainment industry are growing well into double digits on an annualized basis, despite the slowdown in the overall economy.Because the Chinese Industry has been growing so much they have started growing in the double digits according to research, ignoring how much the economy has been slowing down. Studies have shown that Chinese Entertainment is growing very fast and that means that a lot of people watch movies and that means that those specific movies were very good, Some movies have raised up to $8 billion
