The current evidence is insufficient to prove the existence of extra-terrestrial life.
Since long ago, people have always been fascinated with the idea of extra-terrestrial life. We have sent countless of spaceships from many different countries into space, to delve deeper into understanding the universe and outer space. But for so long, we have yet to find any hard evidence of extra-terrestrial life. With all the evidence we have at hand currently, for now, we cannot prove that extra-terrestrial life exists.

Within the Solar System, there are instances of places which are habitable for life. Jupiter’s moon Europa where below its icy surface, it is believed to be habitable for life. Saturn’s largest moon, Titan can possibly sustain life due to its environment containing hydrocarbon (Atkinson, 2015). However, having an environment suitable for life does not necessarily mean that there is such existence of life. The creation of life on Earth did not come easily since our organic material was formed in a high energy environment. During our earlier years, the earth was subjected to harsh lightning storms and tectonic activity, an environment which produced high heat and pressure which is required for organic materials to form, allowing for life to develop (Brahic, 2008). If we were to support this theory of how life came to exist, it would be highly unlikely for much planets to develop life as this necessary environment is hardly present in other planets like ours. Hence even if other planets are available to support life, it might not be able to create life like us in the first place. Thus, we should not judge quickly that there is enough evidence to prove the existence of extra-terrestrial
