When it comes down to our genetics it actually influences our eye colourand it is said that brown eyes are the most common in the world. Brown eyes – Range from light brown to honey and almost even a black colour. Light brown eyes are common in ethnicities among Africans, Asians, and Caucasians. Black eyes – People that have very large dark coloured irises appear to have black eyes and this is common among Native Americans, Africans and Asians. Hazel eyes- this is a mix between brown and green eyes and is commonly found in people of a European descent. Blue eyes – Blue eyes are quite rare and are becoming less common. The number has decreases to about one in six to those born with blue eyes. This eye colour is commonly found in people with a European descent and it is believed every person that has blue eyes share a common ancestor. Grey eyes- Grey eyes are variant of blue eyes but only much lighter and often have light blue or greenish tint. Some people may have a copper or honey ring surrounding the pupil its is still an uncommon eye colour.
