To be frank, the fourth amendment is a security blanket for American citizens; it protects them from illegal searches and seizures. The amendment was one of the first ten, which made up the original bill of rights in the constitution. Many were added to it since then, but the first ten remain extremely important. Without the fourth amendment, America and its citizens could be subject to searches and seizures at any time.
As for personal and public safety, the Fourth Amendment is intended for people to have the right to be secured within their personal owning. People shall have the right to object from unreasonable search and seizures without a warrant, probable cause, and without the support from oath or affirmation. I think the Fourth Amendment is important because it definitely protects your right to give up anything that is your property and what you pay for. What’s yours is yours and people, as well as law enforcers, should respect those rights because they also have that right to not give up anything. I believe that the significance of the Fourth Amendment is that people have the right to not have their belongings taken away from them without any “good
Introduction Many people know all 12 amendments memorised which is very important. The first 10 Amendments to the United States Constitution were introduced by James Madison in 1791. He included the amendments to help the state become more civilised. In those ten amendments the 2nd amendment stands out and plays as one of the most important ones.
The most important amendment is the second: The Right to Bear Arms, which mean you have the right buy and keep a firearm. The rights to bear arms also means you can enable the people to organize into a militia system participate in law enforcement, deterring tyrannical government; repel invasion, and facilitating a natural right of self defense. The second amendment is the most important because without it the government can impose tyranny. Also the second amendment gives the right to protect themselves and other people when needed.
As stated on www.healio.com, the Gideon v. Wainwright case is what brought the need for constitutional protections being accessible by citizens. This being one of the main reasons this amendment is important because not everyone
The amendment 's go on from freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures, to the tenth amendment which is powers reserved to the states. Having all of these amendments in the U.S Constitution allows Americans to live freely in
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated… We all know the fourth amendment. It's the amendment that guarantees our safety within our homes and our personal belongings. Yet, how much do you know about the fourth amendment? The fourth amendment is full of history, controversy, and discussion, even in modern day.
The second amendment outlines the right to bear arms, which guarantees that the government can’t take away the right for someone to have weapons. The third amendment insures that it is not required for a solider to stay in a house without the owners consent. The forth amendment states that the law can no search or seize your property without consent, warrant, or probable cause. The fifth amendment denies the act of double jeopardy, a witness acting again himself in court of law, and requires due process if deprived of life, liberty, and property.
I feel that this is an extremely important and still completely relevant amendment. Without the protection of the fourth amendment, no one would feel safe. The police/government could target individuals for little to no reason, enter our homes, and take whatever they pleased at any time they felt the urge to. The thought of that even being possible is scary beyond belief. I am not a criminal, and have nothing to hide, but the thought that the government could burst into my home whenever they pleased is terrifying.
The First Amendment helps us to grow as a nation, to be better than our past and adapt to change. According to Polenski, “The very [First Amendment] freedoms themselves provide the means and mechanisms for our society to self-correct those challenges, perhaps a main reason why the First Amendment has endured, unchanged, since Dec. 15, 1791”. The Bill of Rights was a wise move. Our founding fathers saw that it was important to put these amendments in place because if the government is left uncheck, we could easily be like many other nations that are oppressed.
Through the Bill of rights we all receive the ability to deny unlawful searches and seizures, right to bear arms, and most importantly freedom of speech and expression. I believe this is the most important because all of these rights are unalienable and any American citizen
The amendments are very important to the constitution and to the people that live in our country. The amendments also have other name that is mostly know better called the bill of rights. We have the freedom to religious and political freedom, and the right to bear arms, the right of quartering troops, the right to search and seizure, and the rights of accused persons, the right to a speedy ,public, the right to have a trial by jury in civil cases , the right of limits of fines and punishments , the rights of people , the right of powers of states and people.this are all the most important amendment of the constitution and all the
The Constitution was to protect the rights of all citizens in American territory. The first amendment said that Congress will not make any laws about the establishment of different religions and lessening the freedom. The second amendment said that people have the right to bear arms as long as you use this right respectfully. The third amendment said that no soldier can live in someone's home without any say so of the owner or in war, only prescribed by a law. The fourth said that people
This amendment helps many people because if someone doesn 't want the police to search or go inside their house they don 't have to let them unless if they say they can. If the police don 't have a warrant they can 't search anything unless if they see drugs and other things that they see suspicious. If they have a warrant you have to let them search you or your home only if they
So this law gives us the right to have privacy and freedom in our own home. I personally agree with this law to an extent because I do believe people should have their privacy in their own home and not constantly get raided by the police. Without this law I think our encounters with the police would be way different. An example is if you are not doing anything illegal you should have no worries of getting raided but without this law the government can make routine searches through houses if they wanted too. That totally violates your privacy as a person.
