Food allergy is an abnormal response to a food, Caused by the body’s immune system. There are more than one type of immune responses to food. A food allergy occurs when the immune system responds to a harmless food as if it were a threat. there are no symptoms of food allergy in The first time a person exposed to the food. But the second time the body will be ready, and an allergic response occurs when the person eats the food again 1.
An allergic reaction to food usually takes place within a few minutes to several hours after exposure to the allergen. The eating and digesting process for food and the immune cells location that involved in the process of allergic reaction both affect the timing and location of the reaction 2.

I didn’t know that people could be allergic to such an important ingredient in a lot of foods. After this happened to me I was really upset that I couldn’t eat certain things anymore but I eventually got over it. I had to start watching out for things that have gluten that you wouldn’t expect them to.
