Food processing:
Food processing is the transformation of raw ingredients into food, or of food into other forms. Food processing typically takes clean, harvested crops or butchered animal products and uses these to produce attractive, marketable and often long shelf-life food products. Such processed food is widely used in abroad than in our country, every product they use is processed in different way right from milk to meat. Now in our country also many depend on processed food due to the changing and fast moving life styles.
The very common quote which is applicable to processed food industry is FARM TO FORK, which means these industries directly buy from the farmers or producers, process them and give a good and attractive cover over it and sell the final product

More number of food processing industries use rotten meat to reduce the cost. They mainly take advantage over consumers as they depend more on food processed industry. By consuming rotten meat, health of an individual is very badly affected sometimes leading to death, as well the company’s name, fame and its reputation also comes down.
2. Label on the products can be misleading:
A) contains 100% fruit- many of the juice producing companies have punch lines like CONTAINS 100% FRUIT on their front label with a big font size, but certainly they contain preservatives for a longer life span of the product, but these preservatives can be harmful to the health as many of it are chemical solutions.
B) Cholesterol –free-many consumers get fascinated by the word CHOLESTROL FREE for example every oil refining company that advertise their product show case that their products are cholesterol free but they contain certain percentage of cholesterol in them.
3. Adulterations:
A serious issue that is being faced by our country from ages ago is ADULTERATION. No product is at its purest form. Companies go for adulteration to increase the net
