French Toast Recipe French toast is a breakfast and brunch dish usually made with eggs, bread and milk. There are various easy French toast recipes. Not all French toast recipe includes milk, putting in mind the vegans. Historically, French toast started way back from the 5th century during the Roman empire. The French toast was created by an American man called Joseph French in 1724. The dish was also introduced as a way to reduce bread wastage. Hence, the most common type of bread used in making the dish is usually hard bread (stale bread). French toast can be topped with whipped cream, nuts, honey, raspberries, strawberries, sausages, tomato ketchup. Do not shake the milk so as to separate the milk from the cream. Peel the banana and blend. In a large bowl, combine the blended banana, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and coconut milk. Mix thoroughly all the ingredients together. Add a pinch of salt if required Heat the frying pan under a medium heat and grease with the coconut oil. Dip one slice of the bread the batter and allow to soak properly. Put the soaked bread in the pan and allow to cook for like three minutes. Flip over to the other side and cook for three minutes too. Allow the both sides to turn crispy and browned before removing from the pan. Repeat this process for the remaining slices of bread and batter. Brush the pan with butter as needed. Note: Do not allow the bread to stay longer in the egg mixture. It might take longer time to cook since it will absorb more of the mixture and becomes excessively soaked.
