HAIR TRANSPLANTATION
Hair loss, baldness and hairlessness as an important problem of human being which lead to surgical medical studies to solve this problem. Hair transplantation is one of the surgical technique that moves hair follicles from a part of the body called the 'donor site ' to a bald or balding part of the body known as the 'recipient site '. It is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness. In this procedure, grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to balding are transplanted to the bald scalp. It can also be used to restore eyelashes, eyebrows, beard hair, chest hair, pubic hair and to fill in scars caused by accidents or surgery such as face-lifts and previous hair transplants. Transplantation technique is the same in both techniques.
In the FUT technique, a line of mark might appear because hairy area that is taken from donor area is sutured aesthetically. Hair roots are classified as unary, binary and triple roots. It is placed to the hairless area via opening micro channels with local anaesthesia. It is necessary to wait for 6 months to apply the 2nd session. But there is no such thing for the FUE technique. Following the 1st hair transplantation, 2nd session can be applied on the day after. If condensation treatments are applied to the same area after the 1st transplantation, 2nd session of condensation treatment can be applied after a week later.
On the other hand, in the FUE technique any cutting application is not applied in order to take hairy tissue.
