Is there any of your friends, who loves smiling and keep saying ‘hello’ to everyone in a very cheerful way? There are people with such character and we can notice that they are the kind of people who have lots of friends. They deliver cheerful ambiance to their surroundings, so everyone always expects their presence. They make up their mind to be happy all the time, and they deliver positive energy to others. Believe it or not, some people with such character, whom I have known so well, are successful on their lives.
Do you think as the way that I do? Yes, I wish I could be like them. I’ve tried to apply these things and I have enjoyed the happiness of being happy all the time. Well, they work, though I failed, now and then. But, at least,

• Human makes mistakes
I think this point relates a lot with the first point. Most perfectionists hate to make mistakes. When they do, they feel so guilty that they will feel downhearted for weeks, or even months, or maybe years! This is especially when it relates to their career.
I once made a very terrible mistake on my career. Well, I successfully ruined it. I hated to admit it, and I still feel very guilty when I recalled that day. This is why, I can say that we should really make peace to ourselves. Feeling guilty for a very long time can kill us slowly, because we could never move on and start a new life, which is free from our guilty
I have no problem admitting that I am a perfectionist. When a I fail in the smallest aspect it feels as if I am disappointing the whole world. That team member seemed like she was having
As time passes, we commit to many mistakes in our lifetime, but learning from our mistakes and fixing them is what makes us human. Many times, the consequences of our actions can have a big impact on us and others surrounding us, and many times those consequences can haunt us throughout our lifetimes. However, when we fix our mistakes that we feel regretful for, it is very important for us to forget about the past and move on. Our mistakes and the things that we go through define us and although we cannot go back and change our actions, we can still improve our situation and atone for our sins that we committed in the past. We must remember that there is a way to be good again.
Perfectionism has been in my blood since I was a young kid always lining up my toy tractors against the wall in order of size or color. I have always had this burning passion in me that I need to do more; achieve more. Looking at the long list of activities and causes I dedicate my time to has been an eye opener. I am the busiest person I know but it doesn’t always appear that way to me.
+ Judging your self-worth basing on your ability to achieve unrelenting standards. + Overcoming negative consequences of demanding standards, never give up even though you need to pay the huge cost. If you always think “I can’t be a perfectionist, because nothing in my life is perfect.” But being a perfectionist isn’t about things being perfect; it 's about
Terms such as positive striving/negative evaluative concerns (Frost, Hemberg,Holt, Mattia, &Neubauer, 1993), neurotic/normal (Rice et al., 1996), dysfunctional/functional (Rheaume et al., 2000), negative/positive (Slaney et al., 2002;Terry-Short et al., 1995), and maladaptive/adaptive (Rice &Mirzadeh, 2000; Suddarth &Slaney, 2001) are merely some examples of the tremendous variation existing within the current research climate. In contrast, the dimension of perfectionistic concerns comprises those facets of perfectionism that are considered neurotic, unhealthy, or maladaptive—such as excessive concern over errors and hesitations about actions, socially prescribed perfectionism, perceived pressure to be perfect, feelings of discrepancy between expectations and results, and negative reactions to imperfections and has shown close correlations with negative characteristics, processes, and results (see Stoeber& Otto, 2006 for a comprehensive
My attributes of being active and competitive both help me feel happy all the time. This lets me give my all into everything I do. Many people say I cast a happy atmosphere onto everyone near me. Almost every day at work, I am always happy to be there and am always in a good mood. When most of my coworkers are tired and ready to go home, I have just happy to be there.
Lastly, I believe the last key to happiness if to look at everything in the most possible way. If you look at everything negative then you will never be truly happy and you won’t have very many people who wants to be around a Debby Downer. Being happy is a choice, as Abraham Lincoln said,” Most folks are happy as they make up their mind to be” you have every right to be happy, its just up to you to make it
Life is complicated and everyone goes through stress no matter who you are and what you do some things will catch you off garde in life. Yet not matter what you should never let the challenges of life consume you or interfere with your life goals. In my essay I will be talk about how Chris work hard to pursue his dream jobs also how his stress affected his identity and how without stress u can not find happiness. It creates a negative feeling. I mean, how many of you have looked back at your life, thought of your mistakes and got angry at yourself? I have. I assume that all of you must have. Failure hurts.
OVERCOMING PERFECTIONISM “Perfection is annihilation. It paralyses us from working from the heart. Humans by nature are not perfect and imperfections are what makes the world beautiful.” Mistakes Are Normal One of the very first things you must reflect on is to accept the fact that mistakes are meant to be made.
Choosing to Live Happily Does it ever appear to you as if people live their lives trying to attain happiness? The decisions people make every day seem to revolve around what will make them the happiest. No one knows the true meaning of happiness but we all want to have it. Many people try to attain happiness through actions or things. Some people buy everything that they want to try and make themselves happy.
Think of some favorite memories or objects: the first love, favorite pet, favorite foods, or maybe even a good vacation. What do all of these have in common? When recalled, these memories or objects bring a sense of happiness that makes one think fondly of these things. Happiness is an emotion that the human race strives for. Happiness is a Choice There is no greater feeling in the world than being happy. Believe it or not, happiness is a choice that comes from within. According to a theory in Psychology, all humans have a happiness “set- point” that determines their overall well-being. When something positive happens to a person, he becomes happy. On the other hand, when something negative happens to him, he becomes miserable.
A collection of philosophical, religious, psychological and biological approaches had attempted to define happiness and analyze its connections. Researchers have found that about 50% of people happiness depends on our genes, based on studies of identical twins, whose happiness was 50% correlated even when growing up in different houses. About 10% to 15% is a result of various measurable life circumstances variables, such as socioeconomic status, marital status, health, income, and others. The remaining 40% is a combination of intentional factors and the results of actions that individuals deliberately engage in to become happier. Studies have also found that most of us are born with a fixed “set point” of happiness that we fall in throughout our lives.
