Based on health officials’ reports, researchers found that tens of thousands of death can be prevented, mostly by people making changes to their lifestyle. Reports shown that an estimated 12.6 million people died by reason of working or living in an unhealthy environment. World Health Organisation (WHO) stated more than 100 diseases and injuries contributed by environmental risk factors, such as air, water and soil pollution. The most fatal death is air pollution including exposure to secondhand tobacco smoke, amount to as much as 8.2 million deaths due to it. Dr Margaret Chan once said: “A healthy environment underpins a healthy population”. Productivity improves as a person of perfect healthy can work properly and leaves nothing undone. As a student, he can do his work excellently and always stay positive and optimistic. In addition to that, healthy lifestyle improves mood of a person. The Mayo Clinic stated that physical activity such as exercise and workout stimulates the production of endorphins. Endorphins are brain chemicals that leave a person feeling happier and more relaxed. It also boosts your confidence and self-esteem as you will feel fresh and better for the whole day. Therefore, stress decreased and become more cheerful. A person with less stress enjoys all the good things of life, he keeps a cheerful mind and go through life’s journey with joy. Therefore, good healthy is priceless blessing in life. “Health is wealth” highlights the importance of good health. In conclusion, the polluted environment and the improper lifestyle affect our health and cause diseases and injuries. Therefore, purifying our environment by proper waste disposal, plant trees, and so on. Also, awareness campaign is necessary to organise every year by school and government.
