The community doctor is the first person to be seen if a person has queries on their health. A majority of the work load is done in the surgery and the GP will also provide home visits for those who need it. GP’s handle patients with psychological, physical and problems concerning with their daily life, they also work with other health organisations such as hospitals and they also ensure that patients are capable and improving their own health. In our unit, almost every patient has a bed alarm and chair alarm. Our unit is neurotrauma; therefore, most of the patients are the risk of a fall. So, having a bed alarm and chair alarm is for the safety of the patient and I would keep the same procedure. However, many types of research have been proven that having so many alarm can diminish the nurses, or nursing aides respond ability to the sound. Therefore, I believe if a patient does not need the bed alarm, then it is better not to use it.
The first benefit is pay, on average a radiologist will make around $280k (pay scale). The next benefit in the potential to work from home, a radiologist can remote into a hospital network from home to read exams and give reports for stat exams for other doctors in an emergency situation. The next benefit comes from my interview with Dr. Ludka and when asking him about the benefits he told me “a benefit in my opinion is that there is no routine exam, meaning there is no two test are exactly the same and that makes so work doesn’t get boring” (Ludka). A fourth benefit is they have a direct impact in the patient’s wellbeing if they had diagnostic test done then the radiologist must read it in order to discover the patient’s condition and without accuracy a patient could potentially die depending on their condition. A final benefit is some of the extra perk that a radiologist get, with my interview with Dr. Wong I asked him about benefits and his answer was “working as a radiologist, we typically get more vacation time than any other doctor”
She was too scared to sleep that night, she was scared that, the thing would come back. When her mum came to get her up for school the next morning, she tried to explain what happened, but her parents passed it off as “Just a bad Dream”. The next night, Sophia tried to stay awake but eventually drifted off, only to be woken again by the sinister voice, “Sophia, I’m on the fifth step” by now Sophia was balling her eyes with tears. The next night, Sophia decided to turn off the hall light and closed her bedroom door. Just as she was about to doze off she heard the voice again, “Sophia, I’m on the top step” Sophia was scared, she knew that her bedroom door was closed, but she was still afraid.
Almost every chiropractor will require X-rays, MRI 's and/or Thermal Scans, unless you bring current and usable test results/scans with you to your first visit. On the other hand, some doctors prefer to do their own testing at their clinic or at a location they frequently do business with. These are not covered in the initial consultation/session fee; although, the chiropractic clinic/office will sometimes offer a special discount. Chiropractic clinics may reduce the number of regular session fees over time if long-term treatment is recommended. They also offer special package deals or set up a payment plan that you and your budget can live with.

Problem Identification Getting out of bed is one of the dangerous things that the elderly patients do when they are admitted in the hospital. Study conducted by Ambrose, Paul & Hausdorff, (2013) on patient falls reveals that a majority of falls in the elderly patients occur between 0700 and 1900, especially when they are getting out of bed to use the rest room. As a Resident Advisor (RA) I have had nights where I was woken up to help a resident who was vomiting in their bed from a night of heavy drinking. These situations required me to take control of the room and think quickly on my feet. As a physician, these are qualities that are important to make sure that the patients receive the care they need in a timely fashion. While the skills of an RA and the skills of a physician are vastly different I am confident that the skills I will take away from being an RA will allow me to improve my patient’s lives through the care I will provide. In addition to my experiences as an RA, working in a research lab allowed me to develop my critical and creative thinking skills.
Patient Abuse One of the most sensitive issues in health care is patient mishandling or abuse. Mishandling is the maltreatment and negligence of a person under medical organizations or at home. Some of the many types of ill-treatment include but not limited to physical, mental, curative and monetary abuse. According to the USA Today review, more than 5000 assisted living facilities were hazards for the elderly while they should be safe places for them. The report conducted between 2000 and 2002 found that there were significant medication errors as well as poor staffing (training).

The pain from the rash is so severe that it dramatically reduces their ability to complete many basic tasks around the house, including light housekeeping, laundry, cooking meals, and so forth. In more severe cases, even personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing may be affected. Home care services may be required after the initial shingles attack has finished in cases where there are continuing sensations called postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). With PHN, the shingles pain continues on even after the rash has gone. Sometimes, it continues for months or even years.
