WAYS TO IMPROVE SPEAKING SKILL
1.0 Introduction
Speaking is considered one of the most important skills of the learners. Speaking skills are absolutely essential and important to our existence and they are the foundation for our success. Public speaking is so important that it could decide many things such as career development, your business growth and even in the relationships with friends and family (Khare, 2010). It can also boost up one’s confidence level as it allows them to demonstrate their knowledge.
Moreover, public speaking is extremely important as it is a key factor for a great leader (Gallo, 2015). Being able to communicate well is a common denominator of great leader. It is impossible to become a great leader without being a good communicator. People follow leaders who inspire them and leaders who communicate their ideas effectively (Gallo, 2015). So, the question is, how to improve one’s speaking skill?

Excellent English grammar is extremely important. To become fluent, one will need to be able to speak without pausing to think of the correct words and sentence construction. It boosts up one’s confidence during speaking (Klazema, 2014). For example, when one can speak proper English during a speech or a talk or even a small presentation, the audience will not laugh at them or distracted by the broken English used by the speaker, which allows the speaker to gain confidence while polishing their speaking skill after every talk or
They must be able to be trusted by the audiences. Trust is an important element for communication, the speaker should be able to convince the audience that he is indeed competent and qualified to convey the messages that they needed to convey.
A good leader has many certain traits and qualities. Communication being one of them. A leader needs to be able to speak to everyone, since they are in charge. Leaders will use constructed criticism to let the people being lead know how they are doing, what could be fixed, or what could be better.
Giving a speech whether being for the public or not, offers personal, professional, and public benefits for the individual. The individual might find it easier to obtain a profession, build better relationships amongst peers, or even propel social movements by carefully constructing and delivering a well thought out speech. A speech needs to be excellent in order to do such things; it needs to have a clear concise thesis, a preview statement, a great organizational pattern, supporting material, memory, delivery and good representation of oneself. Thus, during the process of constructing and delivering a speech, one must have those aspects. This will ensure the speaker will deliver a powerful and moving speech.
Have you ever thought of what goes through the mind of infamous public speakers? How they did it? well maybe if you knew what you were looking for you could find out. The main elements a public speaker uses to construct their speeches would be what type of propaganda their going to use, and what persuasive aspects should they use to capture the audience attention. Famous public speakers such as Martin Luther King Jr. , Ellie Wiesel ,and Adolf Hitler used the same exact guide lines for the speeches that gained them prominent publicity.
The human species greatest skill is communication. Thus the reason why we as a species are superior to all others. This skill has allowed us to perform great feats such as present speeches to a large audience. Throughout the history of humanity, there have been a vast number of speeches given by tremendously talented people. At the core, these speeches have an intense meaning and focus from the speaker.
I’m willing and able to negotiate elements and I always take into consideration the ideas of my teammates. Out of those situations I also had to learn to be an effective communicator however, my skills were really put to the test during my year abroad as an exchange student. I arrived in my host country with only a few phrases under my belt. As a result, I learned to learn to be a good listener and to be precise in my speech.
Good grammar counts everywhere you go, especially in the work place. Both Susan Adams and Kyle Weins make great points in their articles. They both believe that using bad or good grammar shows your level of intelligence. Adams grew up with parents that was big on grammar. Grammar was a pet peeve in her house, in the article she mentions one.

This will help to communicate in different situation. As a leader from one person to hundred persons (live or on TV, radio, internet) are watching or listening, it’s very difficult to stand in each of them expectation. Because each of them have their own perception about your speaking. So you must developed negotiation skill in vast sense in term to win a situation and make sure that you know your bottom line.

Each one has purpose and gives concern to certain skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) development. One of these approaches is Aural-Oral Approach.
