Even if you don’t feel thirsty, drink water before you play basketball. During a game, you can lose about 2 to 3 quarts of fluid so it is recommended that you at least drink 15 to 20 ounce of water 2 to 3 hours before the start of your game.
If you don’t hydrate your body enough, your muscles will be deprived of oxygen especially when you are playing a high impact sport such as basketball. When your muscles are active, you lose fluids and this causes your blood volume to drop, decreasing blood flow to your muscles and depriving it with oxygen.
If your muscles don’t have enough supply of oxygen, it can affect your performance since you may experience muscle pain, headaches and a diminished concentration. So to keep your muscles have its regular dose of oxygen, drink lots of water before you play so that it will replace your body’s lost
Basketball is a game of chess. It is non stop running shouting and yelling, just like my championship tournament for my Hoover basketball team. I was tired before the tournament even started because I had already played a game earlier in the morning at 9:00 am at Chelsea Elementary School with my Berry team. After that game I went to play in a tournament for my Hoover team at 11:00am.

According to an article I read, there are 8 million high school students participating in sports and those students can get hurt at any time and they probably know that, but if they had better safety gear they wouldn't have to worry about getting injured. Still even if they improved their gear they could still get hurt but it probably wouldn't hurt as bad because their gear is better and safer. Out of the 8 million student athletes in the U.S. there are probably about half our more it'd them that play a dangerous sport.
