How To Spend Time More Rationally (and Rock ‘n’ Roll)
Many thanks to those of you who read my recent post —4 Steps To Spend Your Money More Rationally. In case you didn’t read it — feel free to check it out.

So how can we spend time more rationally?
Let’s take a look at three key points:
The value of our time.
Identify when we spend our time irrationally.
Goals, hobbies, and Rock ’n’ Roll.

The value of our time:
To spend time more rationally we first have to realize that it is ours to spend.
-“You are wasting your time”
-“Stop wasting your time”
If you’re like me, you keep hearing those phrases again and again in your life. Be it words of a parent, friend, life partner or even your own words.
Let me repeat these phrases

From recording a new album, releasing a new music video to arranging a tour. It’s a way for me to fulfill myself and give meaning to my time. Personally, I find it ideal to set a few short-term goals and one long-term goal. You don’t have to overthink it, setting goals will simply guide you to spend your valuable time more rationally.
Hobbies
Any activity you enjoy doing, but don’t wish you pursue professionally (i.e goals, productiveness etc.). It can literally be anything, including activities that some will refer to as a “waste of time” — like watching TV.
Keep in mind, only you decide what is a waste of your time.
I often hear people apologizing for doing something fun which isn’t labeled as important by society. The overly used phrase “I don’t have time for that” seems to be our best defense mechanism. We try to prove to everyone (and most importantly — ourselves) that we’re not wasting time.
Why should we apologize for doing something fun for ourselves?
If you know someone who really doesn’t have time for hobbies, then share this post with them. They should re-think their priorities in a rational way.
I love sports and spend at few hours every weekend watching
The Importance of Rationality At often times one may believe that making decisions should be predominantly based upon what one may feel or desire, though in reality such process frequently results in negative consequences, thus why in the process of making decisions, love should not overtake rationality. When love is prioritized in decision making, it tends to cause thoughts that typically won’t better the situation for those who are involved, while rationality would instead provide the proper reasoning to create a suitable outcome. In the process of making decisions, love should not overtake rationality.
Rational behavior is not easy to achieve but it is possible. According to Charles Elder and Roger Cobb, “Rationality implies that political actions and evaluations are the product of consistent preferences, logical analysis, and abundant [unbiased] information. Irrationality, on the other hand presupposes that political actions and reactions are based on emotional impulses and blind prejudices that defy logic and that are insensitive to fact.” Elder and Cobb both compared the understanding of rational behavior and irrational behavior. Human beings are basically non-rational people.
Having dreams and goal is important as it helps push you towards in life and have something to look forward to. One of my goal right now is finishing Portland Community College and moving onto Portland State University. The other is building my business and expanding it into something where everybody and look at and be proud of it. Something I was amazed of about Randy is his ambition to desire for something.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once said, “A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Throughout my life I have always set goals and worked extremely hard to achieve them. Planning realistic goals give me clarity on what I ultimately want. It makes me crystallize and articulate the desires floating in my mind. Setting goals have always helped me achieve my highest potential.
Ten thousand hours or 10 years is the duration in which someone must be willing to practice in order to achieve world class expertise in any desired skill. Utilizing this much time is the phenomenon known as the 10,000 hour rule. However, time is not the only criteria in need of consideration; in fact, people are gifted in multiple ways, but people do not take the time to pursue their niches. Therefore, the 10,000 hour rule allows people to take the time to evolve their natural gifts. Some may argue that, in reality, having 10 years of practice makes a substantial difference in skill development.
Some of my hobbies include cooking, exploring nature, exploring in general, expanding my knowledge, volunteering and laying in bed on the weekends while I browse through the vast internet. There is a valid reason for being interested in the last thing. There are not many venues near my neighborhood and no one to take me to one. If my parents didn’t work on Saturday’s I would be volunteering anywhere and everywhere. Figuratively speaking, of
When he talks about leisure, he uses a lot of logos to emphasize the reality of the situation. For example, Faber says that people do not have time to think because they are too focused on doing tasks quickly: “‘But time to think? If you’re not driving a hundred miles an hour, at a clip where you can’t think of anything else but the danger’” (80). He says that people do not stop and go through life slowly, taking time to appreciate everything. In other words, from a logical perspective, he says that people will not have time to think slowly because they are always going quickly.
The laziness I face is similar to the Cyclops. The Cyclops wouldn't let Odysseus and his men leave its cave and started eating Odysseus's men. Similarly we
Therefore, one should not waste their time on idleness and inactiveness, but instead with productivity and industriousness. Thomas Jefferson once wrote, “Work while it is called today, for you know not how much you will be hindered tomorrow. One today is worth two tomorrow's; never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today.” This quote by Jefferson signifies that each day is of value and that no day should be wasted. He is trying to help people understand that at any moment their life could end and they would not be able to make up the lost time.
Setting smaller goals is nice because they are like stepping stones to my bigger goals. The reason I am so motivated to go to college is because I have the opportunity to be the first in my family to attend college. Seeing my parents struggle with money because they can’t get a decent paying job is one of the reasons I desire to go to college. I know by going to college, and doing what I love, I will be able to enjoy what I’m doing while being able to have a improved life than I had experienced.
“Money” Analysis Paper In MP Dunleavey’s essay, “Buy Yourself Less Stuff”, she discusses various flaws with our society’s use of money and suggests a few solutions to correct those flaws. Most people assume that buying things and having stuff will give them a lasting happiness, but the truth is the happiness that having material items brings is only short-lived. People continue to chase after this lasting happiness which creates what Dunleavey refers to as the “never-ending treadmill of consumption.” To avoid being on this treadmill, she suggests spending money only on things that will benefit people’s long-term happiness.
It is true, kids love to play. But, playing all of the time is not at all possible as it can affect their studies, but what if they are enjoying and studying at the same time? It can undoubtedly be said that kids belonging to the present generation are so fortunate to have the interactive learning techniques by their side with an intention to attain the fun and education simultaneously. Screen time has proved to be one of the most interactive ways of learning for children.
We all have dreams, we dream about beautiful, comfortable life, with a lot of money, big houses, luxury cars expensive clothes. But these all things are not so important for our lives, we take a lot of hours in job to get enough amount of money to buy theses expensive things, cars and big houses, but instead of this we could spent more time with our family, because our parents are not with us forever, time will come and they will gone, so what we going to do? Only then we will realize that we lost that time, that time which we could spent with them, by taking care of them or just talk and laugh with our parents and family. We could read some book, go for a walk. We lose our time on our jobs because we want to get these expensive things.
What is Self-Talk? Self-Talk is the ability to talk to your inner self or out loud based on an individual situation. It may have a positive effect or maybe an adverse effect on your choice of words. In simple terms, Self-Talk is those thoughts which you chant throughout the day.
From time to time, refer to your plan to remind yourself of your aims and to fire your motivation. Written goals will make you feel more serious about and connected to your aims and it will also free you from having to work out every day what your goals are. This will save you time which you can then use on fulfilling your self-improvement
