Human factors and ergonomics (HF&E), Human factors and ergonomics are synonyms, it is the scientific study of designing equipment and devices that will fit the body for comfort, functional and also it is the practice of designing products, to take proper account of the interaction, the objects and the people who use them. It includes the numerous disciplines, such as psychology, biomechanics, industrial design, physiology and anthropometry, kinesiology cognitive psychology. It helps in occupational health and safety and productivity, it also includes safety furniture’s and easy to use machines and equipment
Proper ergonomics is necessary to prevent musculo- skeletal disorders, repetitive strain injuries to take out long term disabilities, and to promote healthy environment.
