If the world today gave up hunting, wildlife would become non existent and animals would struggle to thrive due to disease and overpopulation. Outdoorsmen also gain plentiful amount of experience while hunting. They gain relationships, knowledge of the outdoors, and they maintain an old tradition and keep it alive and thriving. In the future hunting may become an even more pressing and controversial subject; however, we must do everything in our power to keep hunting alive. Hunting has a deeper meaning to some people and to take that away from them is in some ways inhumane.
Hunting and all those that partake in this hobby supply countless dollars to programs dedicated to ensuring that the environment stays healthy. Next, the act of hunting itself helps keep animal populations at a manageable number, where the animals aren 't doing damage to other species and people. The final reason is that for many families, mine included, hunting is part of our heritage. When our world faces pollution and animals experience loss of habitat it is detrimental to our way of life and existence. For many hunting is a conservation effort and the best way to protect the country that we live in.

According to the text,"As soon as I’m in the trees, I retrieve a bow and sheath of arrows from a hollow log. Electrified or not, the fence has been successful at keeping the flesh-eaters out of District 12. Inside the woods they roam freely, and there are added concerns like venomous snakes, rabid animals, and no real paths to follow. But there’s also food if you know how to find it.”This develops the theme because it shows that Katniss is handy with a bow. Furthermore, it shows that she is familiar on how to find food in the forest.
With the sport of hunting gradually increasing in popularity around the United States each year, hunters are finding themselves in closer proximity to other hunters than ever. Naturally, this situation creates a certain element of danger, considering the minuscule amount of safety training required for a hunting permit, and that fact that nearly every hunter in America is walking around with a loaded firearm. Drill Sergeant Ross told us that, we won’t get bullets until we proved that we could be trusted. This meant to stay focus and not do stupid shit with our guns, like chasing each other around the camp. After getting our weapons, we lined up and started to march through the fields to continue our physical training. Jesse was behind me, and as we marched he began to tell me about the AM-15. He told me that “this gun could easily shoot 240 bullets within 50 seconds with a round drum on top” whatever that meant.
Eventually, Mr. Peacock started to run. “Ha ha ha! You can’t catch me!” yelled Mr. Peacock. Rory was so outraged that he forgot what he was doing and ran after Mr. Peacock. Unfortunately, he was running toward the plum bush, which Farmer Brown had hired a witch to cast a spell on it, so it will sneeze to deter foxes.
A beautiful day or even a crappy one, it’s always ideal conditions to head to the shooting range. All you need is your guns and ammo and your ready to roll, right? Well, almost. If you’ve spent any time around firearms, you know a day plinking away at paper, poppers or tin cans requires quite a bit more gear than just the bear necessities. There’s safety, maintenance and even a shooting setup to consider.
Your paws can also get dull then making it a lot harder to climb onto things. Taa was amazed at how complex tree climbing was because she had no idea that it could be such an intricate thing. Taas brother got her a very nice rock so that she could sharpen her claws. He then also told her that the run up to a jump was very important because it gives you a very important head start. So Taa started working on her jumping too.
As said by children’s author Tom Moorhouse, “In animal fiction the worlds are really different, and viewed through non-human eyes. The adventures are exciting because you can be hunted by a predator, swept away by a river, or battered by the weather. But the stories also have built in safety-valves because the characters aren’t human. And so authors can — carefully — go to more difficult places.” In this quote,
Secondly, during Crabbe’s journey, he learns how to survive in the forest and also learns some new skills that will be helpful which shows that he has developed intellectually. After Crabbe saves Mary from the hunt camp, he uses her compass to guide them back to the campsite since he knows how to use it: “First, we were on course. Mary’s compass had kept us on track” (Bell 131). Crabbe was able to use the compass to get back to the campsite and he was going the right way because he said he was on course. By using the compass to navigate shows that Crabbe intellectually develops because before he met Mary he did not know how to use a compass but now he is an expert at it.
Life is a never ending game, each situation is a new level. In order to be successful in life, you must follow the rules or else there will be consequences. Eckels, a man who is about to embark on this safari journey seems a bit odd from the beginning. Time Safari INC, has extremely specific rules and once you break one of these rules, your life will be on the line.
Jeff was currently deep in the Catamount forest. Almost instantly after Jeff had untangled his shirt, he heard gunfire from in front of him. It sounded close.
