Being a teacher today is getting harder and harder every day with every new generation students don’t want to study, and parents don’t care about what their children do they just provide food, shelter and money, but they don’t have a real familiar relationship, so sometimes we have to be more than teacher, even like parents.
I work with students that come from difficult situations at home, alcoholism, violence, drugs, etc., so I think that the base of my philosophy is respect I have to respect them to be respected and try to make my students feel important and valuated, because they need to feel from someone the support that they don’t get at home.
A big part of make of them better student and better people is to convince them that they are able to do whatever they want, that they are intelligent but they have to learn to use their intelligence, so I can so that I work with their motivation, and their self-steam, and have both at a high level is my objective.
I care about them as students, but before that I care about the person itself, so they can realize that simple things like greeting, asking how they feel or what they like can make a big difference.

I would like to be well prepared and keep learning to be the best teacher I can and as Yi Xu said: “A teacher’s enthusiasm for his profession is what propels him to continue learning and maturing into an expert in inspiring people and helping them realize how to learn”, if I want to be better and to keep learning, I will get
I have always had respect towards my fellow classmates and the leaders that try to teach me new things. Through respecting others and my leaders, I think that it will augment our relationships so we can work together and make an
As a future teacher, I will always have good intentions for my students. I will recognize their abilities and encourage growth while having a positive approach. I will teach in a variety of ways that is beneficial to my students. If they are having difficulties learning the material, I will change my teaching strategies until progress is achieved. I will include every student; the quiet will be heard, the misunderstood will be redirected and the gifted will be rewarded.
To make the most of the entire educational experience, it would behoove teachers to demonstrate compassion and understanding in regards to the disorders and differences of their students. James 5:11 reminds me that the Lord is compassionate with us when we fall short of expectations. His love does not waiver regardless. The verse states, “Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.”
All students have the possibility to learn and with the proper experience, they will focus. There are many different ways used to build respect and a positive rapport with students. One that has always work is helping the students feel comfortable with the environment. When the environment is positive and comfortable to the students, the student tends to worry less and be natural. Building a positive rapport is not easy and it takes time and dedication.
I want to have a job coach come in and work with my students a few times a month. I want to provide a service where I provide meals for my students over the weekends if they need it. I want to find a safe and open home for my homeless students to live in. I want to show my students that they can get a job and/or go to college. These are all my goals and my roles that I want to contribute as a teacher.
Students not only need to gain the knowledge for the field that they will be working in, but more importantly they need the knowledge of basic life skills on how to think and react to life experiences. It is important for people to understand that knowledge is power, and knowing that it’s not all about you is one of the best realizations one can have. We are all here to collectively work together for some type of common goal. No one person is more valuable than the other. So the next time we are waiting in line in Walmart, we shouldn’t be cursing about how the cashier is too slow, or that they need to open more lines because we are in a hurry.
Reflecting on my educational and practical experiences, I appreciate the infinite influence that teachers have on children. I realise that children will take the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom and use it throughout their lives. I know a teacher has to deal with many daily pressures and challenges, in the classroom. However, I feel I require the skills needed to deal with these challenges. As a teacher I hope not only to be an educator but a positive role model, whom the children can look up to and trust.
1. Describe the skills or attributes you believe are necessary to be an outstanding teacher. Being an outstanding teacher goes beyond acquiring the competence and knowledge to deliver rigorous academic instruction to a diverse group of students. Outstanding teachers possess a multitude of qualities making them unique and unforgettable to the children they serve. I believe that outstanding teachers are passionate, inspired, creative, compassionate, patient and understanding.
All skills apart from the academic ones which are important to being a good teacher and demonstrates my willingness to go the extra mile. Studying and working in education has shown me that it is a challenging and rewarding career, but I believe my track record of dedication and hard work in both elements suggests that I can meet its demands. My commitment to providing a first-rate education for any child has seen me strive to gain as many additionally useful skills as
I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about education and excited to share the joy of learning with students. The perspective of wonder and sense of excitement that children bring into education motivates me daily. Teaching can leave a lasting impression in a child’s life and offers a special opportunity to shape the bright young minds of future generations. While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
Language: the language that teachers use has to be high level, which conveys a sense of professionalism that is honourable, moral and dignified. Professional judgement: the teacher should be able to place the needs of the students at the center of professional judgement. The teacher should be aware of his/her individual values, personal experience, commitment to authenticity, decision-making processes and work towards providing sound judgement. There is a school of thought which says that judgement grows with time and implies knowledge and wisdom, that teachers’ judgment improves with time. However, it is essential to ensure that all teachers possess a significant level of professional judgment.
I want to teach so that I can create an inclusive classroom environment that is perfect for learning. My goal is to get students excited to learn. I will accommodate to all of my students according to their individual needs. I aspire to be a teacher who respects their students and gets respect back.
There is this famous saying, ''Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow". I could not agree more. Growing up as a kid, I vividly recall myself always being enthusiastic to learn and explore. Now I stand on the state where I can proudly say that this passion has driven my growth, motivated me to grow even further and augmented my hunger for quality education.
Being a teacher is a journey that has much to do with learning about yourself and being aware that what happens in your classroom reflects only on how are you with yourself. Teachers are not conscious that they project into students, and that affects how things go in the classroom. I believe the first characteristic of a good teacher is that he/ she is always willing to analyze his/her teaching performance. Second the teacher is humble enough to receive input about the development and application of techniques, learning from it and improving.
