Social Media Effect on Teenagers Nowadays, everyone is talking about the revolution in communication. They can barely see anybody without a mobile in hand, especially teenagers. Social media and social networking (WhatsApp, Facebook, twitter, email, Instagram, snapchat, etc.…) has become an important part of modern life. It is obviously occupying the top position in recent communication and news delivery. One doesn’t need to do a scientific research to find out that people today are not using paper newspapers and magazines as much as they did a few years ago. But what is the effect of social media on us today? And how does it affect teenagers in particular? These questions need to be dealt on scientific basis before being answered. Parents always warn their children from the bad effects of social media. Teachers claim that social media is affecting their students’ results. On the other hand many people claim that social media made our lives easier and more interesting. This means that teens today are aware and want to be aware and informed as much as adults. They want to be involved in the organizations that they believe in. They do this by following and keeping track of these issues on all social media platforms. Social media is one of the best places to reach the minds of teenagers and make a real difference.
