Development is about growth and helping to grow different aspects, as together they create further growth. Development is vital in today’s society as it affects every aspect in everyday life. Certain factors have a huge influence on development or the lack thereof the need to improve development. The lack of development directly affects the economy.

Development in my understanding is to see, encourage, or make growth happen. Whether, it can be a slow progression or a rapid improvement. Development can happen overnight, a couple of days or it can simply take years. Development can be a small improvement or it can be fairly large.
For example, a school can decide to do a community outreach project. The pupils decide they will help refurbish

By developing skills and knowledge, you create the need for people to educate others about their own skills and knowledge. Or others want to be educated to improve their current knowledge and skills, so that they can do their part in helping the community.
Providing Education – By providing education allows for people to develop their ‘voice’. Education helps one to use their own initiative to change or improve their surroundings or needs. Education develops a greater understanding and insight of ones needs/surroundings. This allows for assessments to be made if improvement needs to occur.
Participation of empowered people – the participation of empowered people shows confidence within a community of wanting to be educated. In order to gain empowerment of the people, the ABET facilitator’s approach is vital to be able to capture their attention and to teach in such a way that’s easy for adults to understand. The stronger the relationship with the facilitator to the students is, the more confidence the student will have in themselves and the
I whole-heartedly agree with Moran when she states that, “the absence of trust impedes effectiveness and progress” (99). People need to be able to rely on one another and feel that what they are saying has value. Also, teachers want to know that administrators are going to put into place the steps in order to reach a goal if that is what they say they are going to do. Finally, parents and students need to have trust in the system which is often difficult when the system has failed them in the past. Therefore, establishing and maintaining this trust in each other is paramount to running a successful student-centered school.
Build positive relationships with students will help establish a more comfortable classroom environment. Michie have put a great amount of effort at trying to get to know his students on a more personal level, such as through individual home visiting and personal questionnaires about each student’s likes and dislikes about school. In order for students to feel that the information is relevant to them, teachers should make connections and relate to real life examples. Michie uses his past classroom experiences to connect to his students and further sparks class discussion. Michie would try to relate to what the students were going through in their lives to get to know them better.
1.3 Explain the impact of adolescent development on a young persons thoughts, feelings and behaviours. During puberty the body will go through many changes and a young person will start to become more aware of their body and their personal appearance. As they go through these changes a young person will also try to find their identity but still want to fit in with their peers which may have an influence on their likes and dislikes. They will also become more sensitive to their feelings being highly emotional/upset or easily frustrated over minor issues. These emotional changes also cause mood swings resulting in young people becoming irritable or moody at times and not wanting to converse, this is also due to the hormonal changes
If a child cannot learn the way I teach then I will teach the way the child learns. My aim is not to be a sage on the stage but a guide by the side. Involving inclusive pedagogy in my personal education will allow me to achieve my goals. I impart knowledge, I guide learning, I channel ideas, I create opportunities, I impact lives, I TEACH!
There are four types of development, physical, cognitive, emotional, and social. Physical development is the growth of gross and fine motor, skills. Gross motor skills are walking, running, throwing, and crawling. Fine motor skills are writing, holding a fork, and using scissors. Physical development is also the easiest to see.
The significance of education cannot be stated enough, which is an investment to a better future. Getting an education is one of the most powerful things a person can ever obtain. It is crucial to the overall development of the individual and the society as a whole. When individuals do not have the option of getting an education due to the cost of the schools as well as the lack of schools itself. For those living in poverty it can be difficult to earn the same amount of education as other people who are considered middle or high class.
Education is gained and developed by one's life and values. Education is more than just reading textbooks, going to class, and repeating that cycle. Education is life and knowledge. People can gain education through experiences in the real world. Tara Westover, the author of the book Educated, recounts her life's journey from childhood to the present, in doing so she reinforces the theme that education is the key to change.
Development is a gradual and continuous process. The development of children is greatly influenced through interactions with the family, friends and culture. Children learn from seeing how they are treated, overhearing the interactions of the people around them and observing the things we do all throughout the day. Fully understanding how children grown and change over the course of childhood requires us to look into various child development theories such as psychosocial, cognitive, behaviourist and ecological theories, to name a few.
Introduction Development refers to the pattern of continuity and change in human capabalities that occurs throughout the course of life (King, 2008). Children development is is a part of human development that refers to a biological, emotional, and psychological changes that take a place in human beings between birth to adult. To develop from the child to adult, there are two main focus which is nature and nurture that must come together. Nature refers to the gene or heredity, meanwhile nurture involve the environment around us.
Some components of teacher efficacy include: developing an organized classroom environment that is supportive of positive and meaningful learning, positive beliefs and development of instructional activities in different domains of learning, engaging the involvement of parents and sourcing resources needed for learning tasks, and redirecting negative influences that may affect the flow of the academic accomplishments of students (Marat, 2007, para. 3). A strategy that can be utilized by administrators in assisting teachers in developing a high degree of teacher efficacy involves providing information on the relevance of learning in students lives. This strategy of providing information on the relevance of learning in the lives of students would be undergirded by a series of workshops that would expose teachers to components of quality and effective learning, the nature of the pubescent child, the role of culture in the process of assimilation and equilibration and how learning can be developed and supported by positive self-beliefs among students with low-self image. Workshops would be conducted for three hours per week and would involve a reflective component where teachers selected for this
Nature and Nurture Influences on Child Development Karla White ECE 205: Introduction to Child Development Instructor: Alesia Lane October 2, 2017 Nature and Nurture Influences on Child Development Describe the relationship between nature versus nurture. The nature vs. nature debate is the scientific, cultural, and philosophical debate about whether human culture, behavior, and personality are caused primarily by nature or nurture. Nature is often defined in this debate as genetic or hormone-based behaviors. Our genes determine the different traits that we have, such as eye color, hair, ear size, height and other traits.
DEVELOPMENT PSYCHOLOGY: REFLECTIVE ESSAY In life of an individual there are several developmental changes or events which occur as continuity of span of life. Some of life developmental stages include infantile, adolescence, maturity, and adulthood. These phases have biological, social, psychological and physiognomic reasons to which an individual completed the course of life. Psychological analysis upon the developmental stages include the focus on characterization, demarcation and the social interaction of individual’s life (Baltes & Schaie, 2013).
A good job leads to higher income which gives the individual a higher status. Social development- education helps to train people according to the economic requirements of the society to a large extent. Helps people acquire skill most required. It also explains the vital role of education in the society to understand various social, political and economic problems of the society, for example literacy problems in the
The purpose of education is to create the “catalyst”, - the interest, the imagination, the self-confidence, the enthusiasm for further knowledge that helps a person grow beyond what they believe they can be. Education should help develop skills and knowledge, so students can be productive members of society. The more knowledge you have, the more opportunities you have in life. I think back to my childhood and the teachers that made an impact in my life. I want to be that catalyst for students.
Thus education creates a desire for change. Assistance in adopting social change: Whenever some social change occurs, it is easily adopted by some people while others find it very difficult to adjust themselves to this change. It is the function of education to assist people in adopting good
