2.1 The Importance of Information Management
(1) Enhanced Knowledge

We as humans, learning begin in the womb of the mother and when born this process will continue. Starting from a small community of family and next to a large group of people, a lot of information that we get, but not all the information is true and correct any information that is useful to everyone, but it may be useful to some other people. We are exposed to the idea of filtering information and correct information so that they can be appreciated as a useful knowledge to themselves. The stability and proper understanding of such information, the potential is there it expanded to the family and consequently on society. The learning process involves not only learning but also teaching and communicating to verify that the information and the position he held for the true and steady. The importance of information management is undeniable. At the individual level, it can help people devise strategies to gain knowledge and skills to enhance their careers. The relevant information is any information that can improve knowledge, reduce uncertainty and can be used for such purposes in the future. The amount of information held by an organization will also determine the quality of decision making of the organization which in turn will affect the educational product that will be produced.
