All researches need planning in advance. First and foremost, choosing a topic is often the most difficult yet important part of a research writing process. Undergraduates should choose a research topic based on their interest, the courses taken throughout the undergraduate period can be considered as the field to focus for the research. Choosing the right topic is fairly important as topic which is not suitable to an individual is hardly possible to be done with distinction. A research could help answering questions; questions regarding to the research topic are targeted. Before fixing a research topic, undergraduates should seek for advises from the professionals of the interested field. In fact, if undergraduate is interested in wildlife, he/she …show more content…
Limitation of the study helps identify the potential weaknesses of the research which would eventually give readers a clearer picture as explanation will be given. Every parts of a research will have their own limitations and weaknesses; data analysis, experimental procedures and sampling procedures. 4.0 Literature review Literature review has number of important functions in a research. Basically, literature review is built from synthesizing and explaining the researches done by others. Undergraduates can be benefited a lot from literature review; they probably can gain more knowledge through reading others’ work. Knowledge and ideas on the same topic or field is very important for a research in many ways such as research design and other components of a research. A good literature review should have some just, fair and open evaluation of the studies done by others; the strengths and weaknesses should be evaluated. After some just and fair evaluation, undergraduates can broaden their horizon and at the same time discover the new insights for their research. Then, undergraduates can avoid repeating others’ work by reading others’ research
I had underestimated how time consuming research could take. I also struggled to find credible sources. It is also important to remember when conducting research one does not stray away from the main idea. Being a UC Merced student I am offered numerous resources and opportunities.
As a result of searching the existing literature, the researcher was able to obtain data that correlated exceptionally well with the research topic. Indeed, the researcher gathered pertinent information from secondary sources; however, the primary sources of data were needed to draw a logical conclusion of the research at hand. So, the next step was major section III, Research Methodology. Being
The foundation phase engages parents because the school setting should have an open door policy. This is where the setting allows the parents to come into the setting whenever instead of making appointments. Another way that foundation phase engages parents is having observations and assessment, this is where the practitioner does assessments so they can learn about the child’s development, their interests and most importantly their needs if they have any. Main my setting the staff would share their planning with the child’s parent or carer. This will give the staff the opportunity to ask parents/carers about any ideas relating to the learning environment or management of the setting.
When a child is going through a difficult time such as a family break up it is important to put the child’s needs first because if you don’t the child may not be able to achieve their full potential. A way to do this is by having a child centred practice and planning around a child, so that the routine fits around the child and their individual needs are planned for. In my placement the practitioners would plan out what they are going to do, while making sure individual needs are taken into consideration. It is important to work closely with other professionals when planning for transitions because they would be able to help provide the appropriate support the child will need, this can be done by working in partnership with professionals that can help with that transition and coming up with a plan or routine to follow to support the child.
Junior year was a bit challenging for me. It was not challenging because of the work, but I joined a career program. I had to keep up with both of my schools. For me to be successful with so many things going on, I had to stay organized and think ahead. My success was that I kept all my grades above a C+.
The research paper is less daunting if you use the annotated bibliographies and project outline as its foundation. You should try not to rush through your research, don’t settle on the first source you find. You should analyze and evaluate each source before incorporating them into your paper. Starting college and working on your first research paper can be overwhelming. However, if you make a plan and start your work early, you set yourself up for success.

A literature review is a summary of the argument in a research paper. A literature review is used to see what has or has not been investigated, to put the work in a perspective and provide evidence to support work. 4. How does deductive logic differ from inductive logic? a.
College is an important and new experience for many people including myself. Coming into college I think a lot of people have small mindsets including myself towards what takes place. As Robert Frost said “we come to college to get over our little mindedness.” I agree with statement currently being a freshman in my first semester of college. College in general is a life changing experience that comes with a lot of life lessons.
A way to encourage scientific enquiry in the classroom is through the use of practical investigations. In the context of thinking and working scientifically, investigations are activities where children can use their conceptual understanding and knowledge of science to find solutions to problems and questions (Skamp, 2012). Supported by Ward et al. (2006) who say that the term investigation is used for activities requiring children to make choices about what to change and measure. Instances where science lessons are practical and focus on the development skills linked with scientific enquiry and where emphasis was placed on the children carrying out investigations independently, were the most beneficial (Ofsted 2010).
The paper is purposely meant to critically criticize a nursing article entitled Promoting Urinary Incontinence in Women after Delivery authored by Linda Brubaker and was published on 25th May 2002 in the British Medical Journal. The article was picked since urinary incontinence is a challenge that most patients fall short of deliberate with the medical practitioners and clinicians thus rendering it a huge complication that is not often reported and treated (Chiarelli & Cockburn, 2002). Urinary incontinence is among the monotonous perennial nursing conditions that are visible in basic care practice. The condition is often popular compared to diabetes and other diseases that are considerably attended to.
Writing is not just about coming up with ideas and jotting them down on paper saying that it is your story because if it is then it is half done, and readers would not want to read what you have to say about how you feel on an experience that you have explored. Writing is about going through experiences and jotting those experiences down on paper and putting them in order so that the reader can understand what experiences you went through to get to the point that you have come to. Writing is a way to write you feel and to make it easy so that you do not have to speak what is on your mind. In my opinion writing can be my favorite thing to do because I like to write but when it comes to me speaking, I get nervous and do not know what to say when I get in front of a crowd. Writing can also be a way to get out of things such as if you want to break up with someone, tell your parents something that is bad that you do not want to tell them in person, talk to a doctor in a message just in case if your friends are
Interdisciplinary research involves integrating knowledge and methods from different disciplines, using a synthesis of approaches (Repko et al., 2017). Basically, in interdisciplinary research, incorporating perspectives from multiple disciplines allows people to construct a more comprehensive understanding of a problem being addressed (Repko et al., 2017). There are both advantages and disadvantages to interdisciplinary research. The main advantage is that interdisciplinary research both draws from and integrates the different backgrounds and perspectives of multiple disciplines and then combines them into a single functioning unit, which allows for a more comprehensive understanding of a problem (Repko et al., 2017). Interdisciplinary research fosters greater critical thinking, synthesizes multiple disciplines, and develops life-long learning skills (Jones, 2010).
Why is writing important? Writing is an important skill to learn and enhance. Writing allows a person to be able to express their thoughts and ideas on to a piece of paper. Writing allowed me, even from a young age, to be able to express myself. Writing allowed me to add my thoughts and feelings on to a piece of paper.

The literature review describes, encapsulated, assess and explain the information on the basis of theoretical research ground
