Although, it is required that we give it that push to do so. In a way, we are killing ourselves and many other forms of life on earth. We do this by simply driving our cars to work everyday, powering our factories, and in general emitting large amounts of CO2 into our atmosphere. When we begin doing this, the greenhouse effect goes from sustaining our lives to putting it in danger. Some of the hottest years in recorded history have occurred during the 21st century.
Many people who take trips to other countries use it to escape the boredom of their own life and to have fun in another country. Taking vacations can provide excitement when heading to different locales, give a person the tastes and sights of a new place, and overall provide a sense of pleasure to a tourist. However, there is an aspect of this that many tourists do not get to see. In her essay A Small Place, author Jamaica Kincaid makes this aspect very clear. Kincaid, along with many other natives of foreign islands, believes that tourists are “ugly human being[s]” who seemingly feed off the boredom and desperation of the natives of a certain place, creating a source of pleasure for themselves (Kincaid 262).

This problem is controversial because some people believe that that global warming isn 't real and others believe it is. There is evidence that global warming is real because some scientist agree that the earth 's rising temperatures is due to all of the pollution. My opinion on it is that it is clearly real and we need to do something to stop it. If we do not stop all of the pollution in this world, it can affect everyone 's way of living in the future.
Global Warming Proposal Introduction The phenomenon of constant increase in the earth’s temperature is known as global warming. The excessive use of fossil fuels is destroying our environment as well as wildlife. It is a great threat to human life too, as this activity is causing intense pollution and also results in damaging the ozone layer.
Global warming is all about adverse climate change caused by the trapping of greenhouse gases in the earth's atmosphere that affects biodiversity and poses a serious health hazard. Many people plan to see the world or to travel at some point in their life and have new experiences but few ever get the opertunity to do so either due to work, school or simple problems in everyday life. The few that do however get the chance to travel abroad and see the world might not be able to do so until they are very old or have retired. Because of this I propose a program that would allow students to see the world while they are still in school, realitively unbrudened by things such as work or worry of money, bills or insurence. The program I have in mind is known as the student exchange program. The student exchange program allows for a student to leave their country of residence and take up residence in another country all while still going to school and studying within the country.

Why is it that we travel, even if we are completely comfortable in the country we live in? Pico Iyer, in his travel essay titled ‘Why We Travel’ states different reasons why he believes we seek the unknown. One of the points he claims that we travel for the “self and anonymity”. As he expands on this idea, it is clear to the reader that Iyer believes one of the reasons we travel is to be able to be “free of caste and job and standing” in order to better comprehend ourselves.
