The influence of the media on older teenager’s values and beliefs

Every relationship has core or main beliefs and values. These values and beliefs can be influenced by cultures, or influenced within a relationship or adopted from other individuals. Without beliefs and values one would not be able to be identify or defined by other individuals.

Communication has changed, teenagers can have conversations behind screen and the disadvantage being that we can’t tell one’s true feelings and intentions behind the screen or by just looking at the text they sent you. This also makes teenager feel the need to always be on their cellphones, which results to losing concentration meaning they don’t listen and listening is main value that one should have in a relationship. Cellphones and the internet have paved a way to cyber bullying and the lack of creativity from teenager because everything is at the tip on their finger, this then make teenagers think that life has all the answers for them and that they don’t need to do anything which is very wrong because a relationship does not revolve around one person only, it takes all of us in order to have one. This affect relationships because if one is always on their phones and their only form of communication is “texting” then this is not a good form of
