Inheritance plays a very important role and has a great emphasis for every community. Islam is a way of life other than a religion because Allah guides the believer through their life and into their next life as well as through the process of death and dying. Every believer will meet with the process of death however making a will can make our passing easier for those we leave behind. Basically inheritance may be defined as the devolution of property on heir or heirs upon the death of its owner it may also be known as succession under civil law jurisdiction. Under Islamic law the Islamic Inheritance law can be known as faraid.

A wife is a person who has married to the deceased when her husband died. If the husband has more than one wife but the maximum is only four wives for a husband thus the wife will divide equally the estate. If there is only one wife the wife will get one quarter of the shares while there is no offspring the wife will get only one-eighth of the estate. There is one exceptional to this rule is the maternal siblings which there is only one maternal sibling which he or she will receives one-sixth of the estate while there is two or more then they will share the one-third of the estate. In addition, in this versus there is another kind of relation which is –the kalalah it means the relation other than children and parents of a person. The rule that apply to the one has made nomination of his kalalah relative is that if the nominated person has one brother or sister then one sixth each of the nominated amount shall be given to the brothers or sisters and the balance of the amount will be given to the nominated person.
