Computers are one of the biggest inventions that have an impact to our life daily, it helped us in our education fields, entertainments fields and business fields. I have chosen to talk about computers because in the old days we used to have everything written on papers which was difficult for us to do tasks, send messages to other people or even communicate with other people, nowadays in the 21st century it has been made easier with the help of the computers and the internet to communicate globally with different people around the world, the use of computers

I would not have not spent my whole day exploring the computer and the internet. Videogames would have not been invented and would have changed my life drastically.
Because the computer truly is an astonishing invention that changed my life and everyone’s life and I could not imagine my life without. I use the computer every day to explore the internet, talk with my friends and play videogames, and all of that is possible because of this amazing invention.
In the end, computers will constantly keep evolving in the future and will make our future even brighter and simpler for us, it is even rumoured that everything will be computerized including cars, robots and other tools all will be programmed by computers, with only a bit of programming into the machines. they will do the unexpected for us in seconds such as calculations that are not possible for humans to calculate with their brains, millions and billions of calculations would be made with the help of the processors that are installed within the computer machines in the matter of seconds.
To conclude this, computers will build a future no one will ever expect, a better, far simpler world full of endless
Tech in the 1920’s Imagine you live in a United States without mass production, the more you think about it you realize how hard it would be. But luckily, we live in a world with mass production so we don't need to worry about that. All of that is thanks to the 1920s. The twenties were a time of an industrial boom and a stable economy in America due to the new technology being developed during this time period.
Brazil technology Compared to Liberty middle school's technology Brazil: When the Brazilian government set out to expand computer access in its schools, they had a broad and important set of goals. Based on the knowledge that improved computer access in K-12 schools and post-secondary institutions leads to a more skilled workforce, a narrower "digital divide", a more diversified economy, and wider participation of all citizens in the knowledge-based economy, the government set a plan in motion. For the long term, to have an entire workforce educated and trained with information and communication technology; and within the next five years, to make computer access a part of everyday life for a growing generation of Brazilian children. The biggest challenge:The Brazilian
I partially disagree with the last statement because although I do recognize that we are becoming more dependent on what our computers can do, there are some aspects in which a computer can totally fail but a human wont. A Computer can provide you with outstanding amounts of information that anyone may require to complete a task, but no one should expect the computer to do all the job, it is only a tool that provides us with some of the means to achieve a goal, the rest will depend on human help. One good contradiction to this is the fact that some people will preffer to speak to a machine rather than a human, but that problem should not only be blamed on computers but rather the way in which one develop and performs
The power and capability of technology has grown significantly over the past five years. Further research has been done as these advanced technologies has been implemented into numerous things such as, autonomous driving cars, drones, and robots. These devices are taking over tasks that has been done by humans in the past. These devices soon may be smarter than humans in the future as an event called the singularity may occur. Singularity is the "hypothetical moment in time when artificial intelligence and other technologies have become so advanced that humanity undergoes a dramatic and irreversible change" (oxford).
Carr and Turkle both use their essays to explain that although computers can lead to a lack of patience and depth, they can also increase productivity, build knowledge, and encourage acceptance of people from all different walks of life.
Imagine a world where communication is difficult, there is not a lot of entertainment, and places are hard to get to. This actually was the world in the 1900s-1910s. Technology has come a long way since the early 1900s. Our world has become more advanced and fast paced due to the advances of technology. Over the last 100 years, technology is by far the biggest change in our culture.
Our thought processes, in short, begin to mirror the way a computer processes things in terms of efficiency and data processing. Today, it seems that almost everything is on or reliant upon the Internet. It is “becoming our map and our clock, our printing press and our typewriter, our calculator and our telephone, and our radio and TV,” Carr says (321). The Internet interconnects everything we do in the media age.
By the 1960s, computers were used for data processing, scientific research, and military operations. The development of the microprocessor led to the creation of smaller, more powerful, and more affordable computers. This enabled the development of personal computers and eventually the internet. The internet had a profound impact on communication, information sharing, and business.
Computers are used to functions that would take humans a long time to work out. They make work easier to accomplish. It can be used to show how much gas is used in a vehicle with different amounts of speed and weight. In the story Cold Equations written by Tom Godwin, a girl is a stowaway on a EDS. There wouldn't be enough gas to get to the destination with her added weight.
The internet could be the most valuable invention that was made in the modern age. With the force of the web individuals basically can do anything. From learning how to cook to building a car. The possibility is endless. The modernization of the internet can have positive and negative effects on the world.
Has technology changed so immensely over the years that it now controls society? What has it done to control society? Over the years, technology has become one of the society's major resources. This relates to the use of technology to control the World State in Aldous Huxley’s, Brave New World. In the present day, we aren’t quite advanced enough to create clones or flying cars, but technology has become more of an everyday tool over the course of time.
As time passes, we will continue to be introduced to new creations which will be far more superior than what we have at the moment. In the meantime, we will have machines and robots who are not ‘perfect’ yet. For an example, in Isaac Asimov’s Reason, Cutie’s cognitive development is not complete yet. “The question that immediately arose was! Just what is the cause of my existence?
— Bill Gates Bottom Line Artificial intelligence was once a sci-fi movie plot but it is now happening in real life. Humans will need to find a way to adapt to these breakthrough technologies just as we have done in the past with other technological advancement. The workforce will be affected in ways difficult to imagine as for the first time in our history a machine will be able to think and in many cases much more precisely than
I. Introduction a. Now let me tell you one thing, are you satisfied with how our world is. If we were to stop all research and development of new technologies, would that sit well with you? I am not ok with this because I for see a vast and great future for our nation and this future is set to begin in the stars. Our nation the United States needs to boost its efforts in the exploration of outer space and as well as be the front runner in this pursuit for new knowledge. b.
Task 2 2B Digital technology ¬– a health threat? We live in a rapidly changing, highly technological world, where the present day digital technology affects several parts of our lives. At work, people use digital technology to communicate, gather information and solve problems relevant to their place of work. A growing number of people also use digital technology at home, to keep in touch with friends and family, check bank balances, play interactive games, participate in online forums and interact with others on social media websites and mobile apps, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
