We smoked dope all the way, and as we were late in arriving headed straight to the club. Ty had a handful of meth tabs, and we each ate five hits to get started. We spent the rest of the night hanging out with his band members and dancing until 2:00 AM. We then moved to an after-hours club and danced until dawn eating speed all night. We did stop for breakfast, but because we were so wired, couldn’t eat and spent the next few hours smoking a bong full of hash until we were ready to crash.
When I saw Jumanji It was about to be one of the best nights of my life! Me and most of our basketball team were going out to eat, than going to Marcus Theater to see “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”. The movie is about four kids who got sucked into a video game and they must beat it to survive. First, we ate out at “Pizza Ranch”. The people with me where: Tony, Andrew, Anthony, Nolan, Evan, Jackson and Landin.
Gatsby always has colossal blowouts and they happen so often and are so sizable that people from all over New York show up. The book, portrays Gatsby’s party as this amazing, breath-taking scene with people all over the place and dancing and drinking, while the first movie is bland and doesn’t show how eccentric the first party is. The second movie, however, is bright, bold, eye-catching, and reels you in. While both movies left out the scene from the library, the second one makes a quick reference to it. Also, in the 1997 version of the movie, Gatsby summons Nick to a room to meet him, while that’s not the case in the book.
My dad, meanwhile calls a taxi to take us to a hotel. On our way over there we see a sign welcome to Las Vegas. There's a junction that wanted to make me throw up from all the curves. I see a place it's called LAS VEGAS WATER PARK ME: mom can we go to the waterpark in the morning MOM: yes We get good night sleep and I hear a lark outside the window then I heard knocking on the window I stepped on the floor it started creaking. Next morning
Odysseus demonstrates it many times throughout the Odyssey, especially when taking on the cyclops, “cyclops try some wine. Here’s liquid to wash down your down scraps of men.” (Homer 870) “The pike of olive, green though it had been, reddened and glowed as if about to catch.” (Homer 871) A character that resembles bravery like Odysseus is Rosa Park, on December 1, 1955; Rosa Parks was going home after a busy day at work. On the bus, white people sat in the front and black people sat in the back. Rosa decided to sit somewhere in the middle row, this was okay as long as there were no white passengers in that row. Soon more and more white people started boarding the bus, the bus driver told all the black people sitting in the middle row to go to the back.
Bacardi and Coke, my favorite drink. It was at my first work-related ball I had my first drink. Once that drink hit my taste buds, life was never the same. One minute I’m having fun then I’m legless, beyond drunk and passed out in the ladies toilet with vomit covering my new green dress. In front of other work-colleagues, like a wounded animal hanging off a pole, four male friends of mine, carried me across the ballroom floor, down the stairs to the street below.
I ate way too much food and was in a food coma the rest of the night. Something fun that happened on this night was that we went to see a move in theaters—all fifteen of my family members. It was hysterical. On Saturday of thanksgiving break, I traveled to Charlottesville for the UVA vs. Virginia Tech football game. I was such a good time and was really nice to see all of the college students tailgating with their whole family.
It’s nearly dawn, shadows seem to roam everywhere. There’s a party in a speakeasy that you can only find if you know a certain somebody. The lights are dazing and too bright to really focus on any one person but no one minds; they are all having too much fun to notice someone sneak into the area. The music changes from fun to screeches and gunshots. A gangster had gone after his rival that had been in that speakeasy.
Walking around on the hot day trying to see every exhibit. I remember the day I got my ears pierced. I remember going to the fair and the ride works telling me I wasn't tall enough I remember going to the Mall of America for the first time and it was so much fun seeing how big the mall really was I remember playing computer games after school I remember riding in the front seat of my Dads old red truck. The sun warming my skin and the wind blowing through the window you had to roll down yourself. I remember trying to paint my nails for school and they looked so bad I remember drinking strawberry pop, which is hard to find nowadays I remember when I got my first camera.
Once I got in the club my first stop is the bar and order me some chicken and fries and some apple crown and coke and got me a little tipsy and in a good mood I was ready to start capturing every moment. I love my job I get be around beautiful girls and positive vibes. The night goes on and everyone is having a good time dancing drinking and enjoying the performances everyone is waiting on the main performance. As time goes on it reaches 2:00 he didn't show up to word he had not made it in town yet everyone was getting upset and tired of seeing the local artist so we had to find a way to stall them for like 20 minutes later. My Friends that were promoting the party had the crowd so live and turnt up before he came in cameras was rolling I got everything every moment.
Baller County had high expectations for the year so the team started off the practices with a strong swagger and practice had started becoming part of a usual routine for all the young athletes. The day February 25, a day that young John Goodman will never forget. The overcast weather conditions had soaked everything; therefore, the team had spent practice in the batting cages. Afterwards, the coach dismissed the team to go home since weather conditions seemed to be worsening. Goodman and a few others had decided that they would go to the mall and pick up some well needed snacks at the mall.
My friend Josh had this bright idea to drink a whole half a bottle of brown liquor by himself! All of them are like lit before 3:00. So the day goes on and we usually end up at the “Strip” at night. Usually we find our own way to the Strip but this particular year Mrs. Christie was nice enough to take us to the Strip. So we all pack up in the “church van”; all my friends are high, drunk, and everything else and we head to the Strip.
Everyone seems drunk with cider and life itself, especially Finny, who plays a wild but pretty dance at the awards table with his good leg. Finny announces the beginning of the carnival decathlon and has shown several athletic gestures for the popular crowd. Among the festivities, Brownie reappears bedroom with a telegram: Lebbro Gene wrote to say he is "escaped" and that his safety depends on whether gene is immediately approaching his "Christmas position." In Chapter 10, he speaks mainly of the leprosy gene, Leper tells Gene that he has abandoned; he did so because the army was planning to get him a scatter from the eighth section of madness that he said would have prevented him from finding work or leading a normal life. Gene makes some uncertain comments and Lebbro suddenly breaks, insulting him.
