It is believed that people who live a fit and healthy lifestyle tend to feel more comfortable with themselves and how others view them. With today 's hectic lifestyles, many human beings become busy with everything that is going on in their lives, that they forget to pay close attention to their own personal health. The truth of the matter is that if people can simply devote a small portion of time to their fitness, health, and what the body requires, they can increase their level of focus and productivity. People will have more time and energy to devote to friends, family, work, and possibly every other aspect of their lives. According to a University of California Los Angeles professor of neurosurgery and physiological science, Fernando Gomez-Pinilla, diet, exercise and sleep can alter your brain health and mental functions (Wolpert). Exercise like walking, although not strenuous, is good for people’s wellbeing. It increases blood circulation and the amount of oxygen and glucose that reaches the brain, helping people to think more clearly. According to an article from WebMD reviewed by doctor Bhandari, exercise also boosts endorphins, which can reduce feelings of stress. Healthful foods such as salmon and walnuts, help improve learning and memory and help fight against depression and mood disorders.
