Today I am deeply humbled to be recognized as a potential member of the National Honor Society. To me this means I have exemplified everything you look for in a student who goes above and beyond, not just in academics but in athletics, the community and at home as well. I have not taken this selection for granted, as I believe would be a great asset to the National Honor Society. I am hardworking, honest, reliable and quite charismatic too. I hold all the qualities required by the distinguished NHS like leadership, service, character and scholarship.
Me helping the players will make the world better because everyone loves football. The players need to be taken care of so they can play efficiently. Wherever I end up, I know I will be helping people. I would initiate a program in the school system for student athletes. Sports medicine sounds great and I know in the long run I will be financially stable and be able to take care of myself .
Being a TL is a great honor. It means that the Platoon Sergeant (PS) has proposed great trust in the person as a soldier and believes he can lead a team. In the MP core, a team consists of three soldiers, a TL, a gunner, and a driver. All three have important roles in accomplishing a mission but the TL is what shapes the team. Over the past couple of years SGT Wigginton has shaped me into a leader.
I view my parents as inspirational because they try to help others and that influences me to help others just like Scott’s parents . The rest of my friends and family motivated me because they are doing good things in life and I want to be like them, or even better. I feel like everyone can be successful at something if they really wanted
The skills that I have that can help make a difference in my community are, my positive attitude in times that are hard, being able to be a team player no matter the circumstances, and how I am able to learn from my mistakes. What does success mean to you? Explain. What success means to me is that you are satisfied with what you have, and that other people are happy for you. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
It is important to be thankful because everyone who helps us in everyday life deserves a sign of thankfulness from us. Being thankful is a quality that every good and caring person should have. People think of you as a good person when they get polite “thank you’s” for the help they give you. Also, we should always be thankful for what we have in this world. I am most thankful for having my family, friends, and doctors, who help me have a happy and healthy life.
Sabrina Duong Philosophy 2306 Dr. Matthis MW 3:50-5:10 P.M. Josiah Royce – Loyalty According to Josiah Royce, loyalty is defined as the willing and practical and thorough going devotion of a person to a cause. Before reading this section of the book, loyalty to me meant to always stay truthful, to be reliable, to stay committed, and never betray that person or cause no matter what given situation may occur. Loyalty can create a bond between two or more individuals. It helps shape their relationship whether it is professional or personally. Royce not only defines what loyalty is, but he describes what it takes to become loyal to a certain cause.
Over time, Veterans learned that they were rewarded if they obeyed the rules and worked hard. Consequently, Veterans today value loyalty, respect authority, and expect rewards for hard work (Hatfield, 2002). As they near retirement, they fully anticipate reaping the rewards of their loyalty, longevity, and contributions in
“Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it.” Mark Twain. Do you truly appreciate the country you live in? The fact that you can be proud of saying the ‘Pledge of Allegiance’, can have an easier lifestyle, see amazing attractions, and have rights and freedom. When people show patriotism, this is showing their country love, devotion, and dedication. They show patriotism because they simply love their country. It doesn't matter if you're from a different country, patriotism is a needed quality.
Above all, Atticus is a father that his kids can be proud of. He’s teaching them through his actions and words. He’s being a role model for kindness, truth and justice. Jem and Scout learned valuable life lessons through their time spent with Atticus. I think Atticus was the hero in this book for all the above reasons.
I am evolved with volunteering at various events through the Interact club here at MHS. By volunteering within the town it gives me good morals. It teaches me to always give back to my community, but it is rewarding to help people in need. My leadership skills shines when I babysit. It is a huge responsibility to make sure a child, or sometimes an infant is safe at all times.
You can secure lifelong friends and extensive contacts for the future. The people you meet should adhere to the standards of the honor code and therefore should be trustworthy and genuinely admirable people. I love attending the Young Singles Adult Ward in my hometown because of the perspectives from others like me and the ability to grow together with people who are at the same point in life. Similarly BYU is an even safer and
I am truly honored to be considered for being a part of The national honor Society. Being a part of this organization has been a goal for me since I first knew about what it was, and how it does great things for the community. I am inspired when I hear the great actions it national honor Society has done and I hope to be a part of this admirable organization. I feel I am qualified to be a part of this organization because of my dedication and hard work. Every day I follow the same routine.
I can relate to and fulfill Virginia Tech 's motto, "Ut Prosim" due to the fact that service is a very important aspect in my life. I believe that I have been blessed with everything I have been given in my life, including my family, friends, a healthy life and shelter. I am very grateful for all of these things, considering many people aren 't nearly as fortunate; sadly, there are far too many people who have close to nothing. For this reason, I believe that it is my obligation to give back to the community and provide service and help to anyone that is in need of it. I am a member of National Honor Society, LEO Club and Friends for Life which are all organizations at my high school that perform service activities in our community and
I always put my mind to a goal and do my best to achieve it, and I have great moral support from many people. I have learned so much on working with people of different ethnicity, cultures, as well as with special needs students who I assist and teach and it 's such an incredible opportunity to be part of their lives. But most of all my biggest achievement is being devoted and dedicated to those things I love the most. Especially now I would love to have an accomplishment of being part of the Capital One
