Exaggerated imitation becomes absurd, an example of this would be the policemen putting squirrels down his pants and this is prime comedy because of the absurdity mixed in with confusion. The intention is to reduce the subject of the joke. The parody itself changes to be satire. Anne Washburn has indirectly used dominant influences of this day and age to insight the viewer. The reader can easily realise the parody component to “The Simpsons”, the T.V series uses real-life situations and creates a parody of the scenario, hence making the audience laugh at the imitating situation, as most episodes in “The Simpsons” series are based upon illusion within an illusion, very much like Anne Washburn who fundamentally characterised by literally and pop-culture illusion, a reference within a reference.
This is a perversion of the self-defense plea (‘se defendendo’), a serious legal term. I felt that such creative play on words fell right into the domain of funny, witty drunks. When I deliver this line in the scene, I am lying on my back, giggling, and I give the other gravedigger a short slap on the buttocks. This heightens the humour and also further plays on ‘se offendendo’. This sexualized gesture transforms the seriousness of the scene, and uses the comedy to get the audience off guard.
Bad Ideas for Bad Television Shows was a play presented by a really prepared group of actors. This extraordinary play was funny, complete, and understandable. There was no doubt that what we saw is a comedy. This play was about three desperate TV executives who need a show to appear on their TV channel. In the first scene, they were so desperate because they were “out of ideas” and they even beg.
Moves can show emotion in ways real life can not and Tim Burton’s films do this by creating emotions that are contradictory. An emotional state or reaction is a feeling and movie directors use them to help create stories. Some of the best movies make you feel multiple ways at once to make your movie going experience the best it can be. he uses close ups, music, and low key lighting to create comidikly unnerving feelings in the audience. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory(Charlie) was a children 's story that Tim Burton adapted and turned it into a slightly darker story than the one we knew.
In the book author use word “simple and obvious” for horror movie.Horror movie will not give you instant scream or shock as roller coaster but it makes you scared mood in few hours or few days. Also when we watching horror movie we got feeling that someone is watching me or feels like someone is next to me. The author write “when we exhibit these emotions, society showers us with positive reinforcement, we learn this even before we get of diapers”. It shows we always know the feeling before things happen.Horror movie always have sick joke or dirty job or something that impress people, this help people to watch their movie because you cannot get those feeling when you stay normal in real life. People always want something special in life, that’s why they travel around the world and try to find something that other people don’t have.
Kyzer Knauth#14 6 Song 10/4/16 Informative essay:Clowns Clowns can be very scary and here is why. A kids birthday card could have a picture of a clown smiling and sometimes it could be scary. You could have seen a television show of a clown starring in it. Or you could have seen it in a movie that you watched it on a movie. Because there was a movie named IT and it was filmed in 1990 by Steven Spielberg.
The family's treacherous journey to Jefferson is filled with danger and excitement, yet Faulkner gives many doses of humor throughout the novel. The characters employ themselves in outrageous acts of irony, from Addie's rejection of her most devoted son, to Anse's concern with his false teeth instead of Addie's death, to Vardaman's calling his mother a fish. This irony would not have been evident if it were not for Faulkner's use of multiple narrators. Faulkner was enchanted by Freudian theories of psychology when he wrote this novel, and recounting the story through various perspectives allows the reader to understand each character's reaction. This enhanced the dark humor throughout the novel because the reader can see into each family member's thoughts on her death.
I thought it was a brilliant show because it was based off of a true story. This story goes back and forth with reality and fantasy, which was Leoncavallo’s whole message, realism. Leoncavallo 's father was a judge, taught his son about this murder case so he took the true story and made it into a story. The only issue there was, the story got taken to the next level affecting his real life with the story. Once the curtain rises, Tonio, who is the fool, explains to the audience to have have an open mind about clowns, just because their looks, they have real feelings like us humans too.

Helena thinks Demetrius is messing with her, and trying to make fun of her love towards him. This is an example of Dramatic Irony because the reader or audience knows that Demetrius loves Helena due to the love potion that is from Puck. Soon after this conversation there is another example of Irony and at this point Helena is being fought over between Lysander and Demetrius because of Puck's potion. Puck turns Bottom's head into that of a donkey because as a prank because he enjoys playing tricks on mortals and fairies. The transformation is funny because Bottom's name is synonymous with "ass" and also because Bottom's personality is stubborn and pushy.
My overall thoughts on this movie were I found the death scenes to be brutal, fun, and one of a kind definetly more then intense then the original. At the same time a little more comedic, which took away most elements of fear for me. I was totally digging the death scenes, with how clever each one was. Most parts I had my eyes covered, which is another thing that gets me into a good horror film. Black Christmas had intese scenes of stalking as well giving it fresh unbelieveable views that somebody is watching under a bathroom tile.
