After the Roe v. Wade overturn in 2022, many worry about plans for birth control. Although birth control is still legal, the ability to refuse prescriptions by doctors and pharmacists is allowed in several states (Stock and Blum). It’s a worry for many that legislators will make birth control less available due to the ban of abortion. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) required most health insurance companies to fully cover the cost of birth control at copay; however, this coverage mandate is being pressed by anti-birth control politicians (Parenthood). Churches, associations of churches, religiously affiliated elementary and secondary schools, and religious charities and universities are allowed to refuse birth control due to the federal law.

As well as providing complete contraceptive coverage, the pill can prevent many deadly diseases and help clear up nuances such as acne. It is a easy and helpful solution for women with irregular or painful periods. Watching Women Final Four Championship game was a new experience for me because i never actually watched any female sports other than gymnastics. watching wasn’t the only first experience i participated in, having to actually listen closely to the commentators to what they say and how they say it, because normal for individuals to be so focused into the game that often whatever those commentators say falls on deaf ears, because your focus isn’t their mentally to pick up and comprehend what’s being said. I believe commentators are limited on words to use for the entire game without causing any kind of negative publicity, during the Women's championship game between Miss St. v. South Carolina commentators refers to all female athletes by Girl
Endometriosis While other women may have it easy to get impregnated or are making the decision to terminate their pregnancy, there are other women who are not able to have their own children. Some women decide to terminate their pregnancy based on social stigma or abusive situations. There are others who die trying to have a normal sex life and become pregnant. One of the most painful and dreadful moments is knowing that you cannot conceive a “seed” of your own. A common condition known in gynecology is endometriosis.
In the 1920s and 30s, men did not treat women with much respect, and men did not allow women to do anything, other than be a housewife. Men took charge of women, and if women did earn any money their husband would take it away from them. Women did not have any rights, and nothing was done to change that for a long time. As women did not have a say, they continued to do as they were told and lacked a voice.
Birth Control is the practice of preventing unwanted pregnancies, usually by the use of contraception. Whether it be the implant, patch, pills, shot, or sponge. Some people want to have sex but prevent having children but sometimes these birth control methods don’t always work and some have had lethal consequences in the past. Birth control can date back to 3000 B.C. when condoms were made from such materials as fish bladders, linen sheaths, and animal intestines.
The first wave of feminism has been a revolutionary social movement in terms of that it could lead to an overcoming of the previous social order (Newman, 2012 p. 487) through its social agents and create, through this, a new social ordering of time and space. Moreover, through reaching their previously described aims, the first wave of feminism has been able to literally “overthrow the entire system itself, (…) in order to replace it with another one.” (Skocpol, 1979, as cited in Newman 2012, p. 487). Thereby, one can even state that a new ordering of time and space by which routines and routinised behaviour has been challenged as well as changed took place. The interactions influenced the way how societies work today.
Have you ever wondered how teen parents live and survive in the world we live in today? Amanda was a teenage girl who didn’t mean to get pregnant. She found out when she went to the doctors for stomach aches. The next day she told her mother and her mother is very disappointed in her. After a few weeks went by, she moved in with her baby’s daddy.
