In 2007, approximate 200 million people, or one out of every 35 people in the World, were living outside their country of origin. The number of emigrants increases every year for political, economic, and social issues. There are several differences to accelerate emigration in droves from Iraq to Turkey. The initial difference between Iraq and Turkey is related political situation. Terrorism and the war in Iraq remain crucial points for emigration. In fact, most of those groups contain terrorists and they kill innocent people. They withal organize explosions. Therefore, Iraqis quit their states and move to Turkey. Turkey is a peaceful state, and there is no war. Turkish army and police also become very powerful, so terrorists are not able to take root. Furthermore, discrimination of Turkmans pushes this nation to go away from Iraq. State governments and Kurdish assimilate Turkmans. During Saddam Huseyn regime Arabs, and now Kurds have been transferred to Turkman cities, especially Kirkuk and Mosul. For preserving national origin and identity, Turkmans emigrate from Iraq to Turkey. Because of friendly attitude and justice, Turkey is chosen country. The last push factor is instability. In Iraq, Kurdistan Regional Government suspends the central administration. For instance, the Kurdistan government occupied oil-rich territories, and agreed with Turkey for selling oil, but Iraq administration didn't recognize this agreement and action.
