The topic for my comparative essay is about the environmental impact of modern day and during the industrial revolution, and how there are similarities between both. During the Industrial Revolution there were huge problems taking place in the environment, and some of those problems are still taking place. Today during the 21st century we face many challenges with what is happening to our environment that much of the people during the industrial revolution had faced. Although today we do have some solutions they didn’t during the industrial revolution, they were just creating more problems with all the newly introduced technology and factories, and because all this was new to them they didn’t know how to solve these problems.
Pollution was one of the key issues during the Industrial Revolution. New ways of transportation, overpopulation in urban areas, and much more were contributing to pollution. All the pollution was ruining the air and water, this had eventually led to many deaths. The waste from industries were running into the rivers, and the burning of coal to run trains was one of the main factors that was polluting the air. In 1873 there were deadly fogs which took place in London, and

Today transporting material and traveling is so much faster and easier then during the Industrial Revolution. Sadly some ways of transportation end up polluting and ruining the air and are health, cars and vehicles have been polluting the environment for years but there one of our most commonly used way of transportation. Cars that use diesel are said to be a little bit better for the environment than gasoline and there has been new ideas such as hydrogen cars, so we are trying to make improvements to our ways of transportation, but we have been hearing about these problems for a very long time and it seems like only a little few improvements have been being
As the eighteenth century roared into existence, a rapidly growing Great Britain was faced with both an exponential commercial and population boom that was unprecedented. It is during this brief one hundred years that the nation, as well as the rest of the world, would be forever changed due to the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. While the Industrial Revolution was liberating in the sense that it gave more occupational choices , as well as the opportunity to move up the rungs of the social ladder through relocation and financial gains, it also brought regulations that had to be put in place. As commerce and trade began to expand, both domestically and abroad through colonial outposts, taxation also saw a parallel increase to not only
While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because of the dangerous working conditions with no compensation for injury, it was actually a positive thing for society. Industrialization’s positive effects were that there were more jobs, child labor laws were created, and there was better transportation. The first thing was that more jobs were introduced. This made it easier for people to provide for their family, and although everyone had to work, they were all able to get a job so they could work.
The Industrial Revolution was a great part in our society because of more jobs, faster more efficient transportation, and many new inventions. An effect that the industrial revolution brought was many new job openings due to the population boom, and the increase in product production. “I think that the factory is the best place for me and if any girl
Children are very fragile for a certain time, and many during the revolution became deformed or worse. For example “C: you are considerably deformed in person as a consequence of this labor? B: Yes I am.” (Document 7). This shows that some children weren’t properly cared for in their job.
The Industrial Revolution was the chain of events from the mid-1700s to the early 1900s that increased population, product output, and technology. During this period, many inventions that people use to this day, such as the radio, electric lightbulb, and the automobile were invented and put forward for public use. It also changed the way people lived, with urbanization causing more people to move into larger cities to work in factories. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily negative consequences for society because it brought suffering to the working class, it was actually a positive thing for society.
Effects of the Industrial Revolution The Industrial Revolution was an important event in history. It brought about many positives during its time. For instance, kids were well fed, educated, and clothed. There were plenty of negatives, as well. One very sad example was the machine injuries that happened to both children and adults.
The industrial changes of the late 18th century and 19th century revolutionized English society. The Industrial Revolution was The re-organization of production is utilization of machinery to maximize efficiency. It was described by the automation from factories and creation of steam powered engines. Furthermore, the Industrial Revolution enable mass production of manufactured goods in factories. This means more goods to sell for the factory owners, and producing it would not cost as much because all the machines were automated and self-sufficient the only people the factory owners would need to pay are the overseers who manage the machine.
At one point in history, it was lawful, even normal, to treat employees terribly, pay them unfairly, and hire people that could do more work for less pay. This period was called the Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution transpired from the mid-1700s’ to the mid-1900’s. Many inventions and improvements were made during that time, but not without a cost. While some might argue that Industrialization had primarily positive consequences for society because of the advances made in the production of goods, it was actually a negative thing for society.
In Robert Marks’ “The Industrial Revolution and Its Consequences, 1750-1850” Marks goes on to describe the end of the biological old regime and the beginning of Industrial Revolution that mechanized the world. In the old regime, people’s necessities all came exclusively from the land. However, in a revolution powered by coal, surplus goods could be manufactured in industries. This allowed the population capacity of the world to increase and a different set of challenges unseen in the old regime to arise.
First of all, let’s talk about the environment. I’m sure you all know about greenhouse gases and global warming, so I won’t talk much about that, but you may not know that road vehicles produce 10% of all man-made greenhouse gas emissions. This does include vehicles other than cars like trucks, but Tesla just came out with an electric truck which is faster and can carry more weight than any petrol/diesel truck. Greenhouses gases carbon-dioxide and methane have hit their highest levels in the past 420,000 years, and the extent of arctic sea ice has declined about 10% in the last 30 years.

This is all because of global warming, and if we start switching to electric cars, we could make a big difference and maybe, just maybe the effects of global warming will decrease.
The most important event in history: Industrial Revolution Context The industrial revolution was the most significant event in history, which started around the eighteenth century towards the nineteenth century in Europe. This great event was the fastest spreading event in human history. The capacity of economy and population growth was unexpected especially at the areas in which it flourished. The industrial revolution benefited almost everyone around the world and brought about new social classes, large cities and countless new innovations including medical discoveries especially in Britain, which based its scientific innovations on experiments and practical work rather than theories and logic, are the great outcomes of this still going event.
I feel concerned that anthropogenic activities have damaged the atmosphere which has led to severe detrimental effects over time. Studying Chemistry enabled me to learn the science behind global warming and the consequences for it. This made me think, what current technology could be further utilised to reduce greenhouse gas emission to the atmosphere? Due to this, I want to talk about electric vehicles as I feel that electric cars are the future of humankind. I will persuade you to leave behind the poisonous, toxic, filthy fumes of your present vehicle and switch to an electric car.
Good Afternoon Everyone “The best solution to pollution is dilution”. According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s’ report of 2010 Transportation contributes 13% to the global greenhouse gas emissions. So, have you ever thought of diluting the emissions by switching to Hybrid Vehicles? You may be thinking that Hybrid Vehicles are modern inventions due to technological advancements but did you know that it existed prior to the invention of the conventional gasoline vehicles.
but it’s hard to make it happen and make everyone to use it because it run slower and few distance than normal car. Now a day fuel is more expensive and most making carbon dioxide in human activity [ 1] and electric car is developed enough to run on the road like normal car that we can see on the road. Thesis Statement: The Electric car have several features that make it as the future of every car. Body1 Topic sentence: Electric car did not make pollution. Support idea: zero pollution Support detail: It use electrical energy instead of fuel that not making carbon dioxide to the air or any pollution to the nature.
