MULTIMEDIA IN ADUCATION FOR DISABILITIES STUDENTS
Abstract- Multimedia is give benefit for disabilities students in the areas of educations. Learning courseware are developing and design to help disabilities students in learning environment by using effective tool to educate student with learning disabilities. Element of multimedia that support coursewares are text, graphic, audio and animation show the better improvement in education.

Multimedia gives many benefit and help student to solve their educational issue in learning process. Multimedia also can motivate student to show their effort and interest to improving their skill learning. The word dyslexia is derived from the Greek word “dys” meaning poor or inadequate and “lexis” means words or language (British, Dyslexia Association, 2008). Dyslexic students faced certain problem in learning process but multimedia is an alternatives solution for them.
Teachers and parents should play a role to help the students understand more about how to use the multimedia software. According to Gross and Voegeli (2007) said “difficulties in forming associations between letters and sounds, remembering sequences of letters for spelling, difficulties in recognizing or confusion between letters or familiar words, mispronunciations difficulty in carrying out instructions, directional confusion between left and right, math activities, problems with sequencing, difficulty organizing work”. Though I was relieved to know that I was not doomed to a life of unintelligence, this only confirmed that I would have to work harder than everyone else in academics. Instead of crippling me, this empowered me. I used dyslexia as a motivator to work harder in every area of my life. Due to this work ethic, peers and administrators select me for leadership roles.
Question 1 Multimedia is the use of computer to present the combination of five elements with links and tools that enable the user to navigate, interact and communicate. Multimedia comprises five elements, Text, Graphics, Audio, Video and Animation. Text is the simplest element used in Multimedia to convey idea or concept. Any alphanumeric symbols and numbers can be considered as text. A meaningful word can be formed through the combination of alphanumeric symbols or a statistic can be performed through numbers.

It is divided into two parts, Part one deals with the theoretical framework focusing on reading difficulties, types of reading difficulties, Dyslexia, different types of dyslexia, characteristics of dyslexic pupils, techniques for teaching dyslexic pupils. It also tackles the multi sensory approach, its principles, content to be taught in multi sensory teaching, strategies and benefits of using multi sensory approach in the classroom. Since some schools are more open to the idea of intertwining technology with learning, some factors should be considered before transitioning. Before integrating technology into curriculums, schools should consider possible addiction that students may acquire, lack of skills and short attention spans that may result from technological exposure, as well as the positive potential that technology has- like easy access. In the end schools should focus on both the negative and the positive side to rule out which one outweighs the other. Being exposed to technology at first can have an exciting effect on the user, overtime this can lead to addiction. Younger generations especially, can easily get captured by the contents on their computer as most of them “prefer picture to words” (Source E).
Children who are unsuccessful early are more likely to start disliking reading and avoid it all together (Campbell et al., 2008). When children aren’t successful at reading from early on, they’re at a substantially higher risk of being unable to read at grade level (Campbell et al., 2008). Introduction and Outline This essay’s purpose is to highlight how school curriculum is altered in order to include a student with additional learning needs. Every student is unique and for that reason a teacher must differentiate the curriculum to suit the needs of student with a specific learning difficulty. Conceptual Framework Media and information literacy has a big purpose in every learner. It is very important to have knowledge into it and advance education about it. But the come out of this point, majority of the learners are lack of knowledge on MIL and it manifest of-the-line the level of knowledge in media and information literacy. According to Wikipedia, media and information literacy recognizes the major role of information and media in our everyday lives.
Digital learning has various effects on the academic performance of the students and this digital learning can help the students to improve their performance in the classroom. Digital learning really makes the students work easier. Because of this, the students may have an advanced knowledge by easily searching their lesson using this technology. With this digital technology, it gives more information to the students to gain more knowledge about their school works. There are lots of technology that were integrated into the classroom that help the students learn with comfort, and that allows the student to gain and recall more information.
Digital Media is any media that is enclosed in a machine and is a readable format. Anybody can create digital media, it can be viewed, shared changed and preserved by anyone on computers.
