Previously known as Bombay and popularly known as ‘City of Dreams’. Mumbai city is a tough paradox. It is a foundation to the Indian Hindi film industry and houses population of 18.4 million. According to a UN survey, Mumbai has the highest GDP in South, West or Central Asia. The city has a humid and moderate climate, although the windy breeze compensates for the humidity. Mumbai is also famous for poetic looks, in particular, during rains. The best time to visit here is from October to March. The city has good connectivity and is easy to reach by road. Gateway of India

There is also an amphitheater at the end of the promenade, which serves as a venue for concerts, dances and other performances. At the end of the bandstand, there is a section dedicated to honorable actors and actresses from Bollywood. The place has statues and handprints. The place is privately owned by UTV Motion pictures. While bandstand is the newest seaside spot for recreation, along with many other places to visit like Chowpatty, Juhu beach and the Marine drive.
Bandra fort and Sea-link
The Bandra fort built and designed by the Portuguese in 1640 as a watchtower in Mahim bay. This fort is also known as Castella de Aguada and a lot of films like ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ were shot here. Moreover, Bandra sea link is a cable-stayed bridge. It links Bandra to Worli and central Mumbai. Other than being a life saver for people stuck in traffic, this beautifully designed bridge is a treat to the eyes.
