Natural disaster is an event wherein the casualties and damage done was made by natural causes such as earthquakes, hurricanes and floods. One of the reasons why Philippines is prone to natural disasters( earthquakes and flood) is because the Philippines is located along the Ring of Fire or the preferred term which is the typhoon belt wherein many earthquakes and eruption will occur within its premises. According to the studies of the German development group (“Alliance Development Works”, 2013) the Philippines is ranked third based on their global risk report index, and storms are not the only disaster that can approach Philippines but volcanic eruptions, floods and earthquakes as well. But, the Philippines is the heavily affected country by these typhoon that brings up to loss of human life, extensive damage to property and loss of livelihood of individuals. Cause of Flood. There are large number of studies of natural disaster such as flood states that flood is the major problem in different countries, specifically here in the Philippines that can harm our properties and our everyday lifestyle. According to Evans (2011) he stated that in weather disaster, it’s was unpredictable when will it happen, whether sooner or later no one knows. Weather disasters includes hurricanes, tornadoes, flashfloods, extreme cold and extreme heat weather that can affect our body temperature which is climate change and also floods is the most various problem here in the Philippine when it comes to weather disasters. Weather disasters are very harmful into the lifestyle of individual people and in their properties can be totally damage after its occurrence. So, the citizen who resides on a prone area in one of natural disaster must be aware that these types of weather disaster can serve as warnings and damage our properties. The only way that citizens can do to survive these kinds of weather disaster is to be well prepared every time and also prepare the survival kits, food, flashlight, power banks, clothes, hygiene kits, etc. these ways can help ourselves to survive this malicious
