INTRODUCTION
Communication is the process of sending and receiving messages through verbal or nonverbal means including speech or oral communication, written communication and signs. Communication has its two key elements, which is the sender and the receiver where the sender delivers an idea or concept, seeks information, or expresses a thought or emotion and the receiver gets that message. The process of communication is what allows us to network with other people; without it, we would be unable to share knowledge or experiences with anything outside of ourselves. The gestures we make while we are in front of people, the way we sit, how fast or how loud we talk, how close we stand, how much eye contact we make send strong messages to the people you are talking to them. These messages they don’t stop even if you are done talking to them. Non-verbal communication is an unconscious language that shows your true feelings and aims. Even the way you dress send a message nonverbal. Nonverbal communication you can easily tell that is working effectively when it is easy understandable to the people you are talking to them or doing your presentation, by using eye contact, touching and facial expression makes them understand quickly what you are trying to share with them. Another advantage of nonverbal communication it reduce wastage of time because the message of nonverbal reach the people or audience quickly.
Nonverbal gestures can increase trust, clarity, and add interest in a presentation. Nonverbal communication is very important because it has the ability to influence, confuse and empower the people directly for an example if a person is losing hope can encourage them by just seeing your facial expression that you mean what you are
There is also good verbal communication; which has the ability to present and explain your ideas clearer through a spoken word and listening carefully to others. Verbal communication also involves using different varieties of approaches and styles that is appropriate to the person/ people you are addressing. This could be a group of people(audience) or a single person. Non-verbal communication: non-verbal communication is expressing ideas and opinions without talking, which is understanding body language which is very important it often gives care workers an idea of how someone is feeling by the way they express themselves, for example the way they express their emotions. To be able to use non-verbal communication it is important as a career that you understand what messages your own body is sending out to whom you are trying to help.

Communication is a tool with which we exercise our influence on others, bring out changes in our and others’ attitudes, motivate the people around us and establish and maintain relationships with them. Communication makes a major part of our active life and is a social activity. People communicate in both personal and professional capacities for a variety of different reasons. In a work setting people may communicate to build relationships; maintain relationships; gain and share information; gain reassurance and acknowledgement; to express needs and feelings and to share thoughts and ideas. Share knowledge and ideas with others is critical for modern advancement and to make room for new ideas, especially as our technology stacks become increasingly complex and specialized.
Communication is the process of transferring of information. Viswanathan (2010) says communication can take many forms of verbal and non-verbal methods which may include speaking, writing, gestures, expressions, listening and body language to name a few. All of these things should be taken into consideration to ensure an effective means of sending and receiving information. How and what information is sent may not be received in the same manner intended.
Introduction: Being an allied healthcare professional requires not only the ability to meet standards and to be able to work in a consistent professional manner, but also to be person centred, compassionate and a good listener. Person centred care means that radiographers consider the individual, health needs, social background or lifestyle in order to find the best outcome for the patient. Diagnostic radiographers interact with people at the time in their lives when they are most likely to feel vulnerable, feel uncertain about their future or anxious about results. Therefore, person centred care can be achieved through good communication skills such as verbal and nonverbal which can aid the relationship between the radiographer and the patient to promote person-centred care. Also, it is good practice to involve patient into decision-making as it empowers patients and helps radiographers to perceive things from the patient’s point of view.
Communication is an inevitable aspect of life. It is an event which happens almost every second of every day. Communication is an act of giving and receiving of information—desires, needs, perceptions, knowledge, etc.—of two or more persons through orthodox or unorthodox methods which can either be intentional or unintentional (de Valenzuela 2002). There are numerous types of communication and one is interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication is one of the communication fields that several studies have focused on.
Communication is critical to continued human development throughout our life span. It is what allows us to share thoughts, feelings, wonderings, and knowledge with others. Whether you are a verbal or nonverbal communicator, the vast majority of communication we do is through nonverbal channels. So if nonverbal communication makes up a substantial portion of our communicative experience, what does it involve?
It is also known as nonverbal communication. This type of communication includes no words but gesture, body language, eye contact, posture or facial expressions. When we interact with others, we continuously exchange wordless signals. A considerable part of nonverbal communication is facial expressions as these indicate others about our feeling, attitudes, states of mind and relationships. Facial expression also plays a major role in communication since the expression on our face say a lot about our mood.
Initially when I registered for Interpersonal Communications it was solely to fulfill my USEM requirements and I reckoned the class as nothing more than an obstacle. My sour attitude did not last though, my first class on my very first day of college was my communications class and I felt extremely welcomed and intrigued. These feelings were reinforced when the second day of class brought an interactive outside activity. I happily participated in and the activity it created an enthusiastic impression within me for the classes to follow.

The two key topics in class in the last weeks, for me. Two of the most relevant topics developed in the last weeks were: non-verbal communication and the barriers to communication. Everytime we communicate with another person or group of people, we have to take into account some factors other than what we are actually saying that can affect how the message is going to be received: body language, tone, intonation, facial expressions, and others; this is what we understand for non-verbal communication. As we saw in class “55% of communication is body language, 38% is the tone of voice, and 7% is the actual words spoken.”
In this seminar, Building Peace through Transpersonal Understanding, our focus is to learn about nonviolent communication, conflict resolution, and transpersonal peace. After comprehending the skills from nonviolent communication, we may then use and apply it for resolving a conflict.
Introduction: The process of communicating successfully with our family, friends, co-workers, business associates and people is one of the most critical skills. Communication is such a key part of life that I often tell to a person that “Its no use of someone if he/she really don’t know by associates people in their work place or area of field”.
