Tea is the next most popular beverage just after the water which is commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis.

Our tradition is based on a life of tea and whether as tea monks who are committed full time or householders who may devote a portion of energies to this Way of Tea, the goal is the same: awaking and presence. This practice will help us to cultivate and share our peace with others in true spirit of tea-leaves and water offer freely in recognition of been being with each other.

Its importance and its uses: Oolong tea is used for sharpen thinking skills and improve mental awareness. It is also used to prevent cancer, tooth decay, osteoporosis, and heart disease.
Some people use oolong tea to treat obesity, diabetes, “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), high cholesterol and skin allergies such as eczema; and to boost the immune system.
