A lot has been said and written about the concept of leadership through the centuries from the perspective of servant, philosopher, teachers, students etc. Leadership means the ability to reach a common objective through the joint hard work of yourself and others. It is trait and standard of knowing who you are and whether you’re going on a positive level, by taking control and setting a model for others. The benefit of being a leader is self-worth. You begin to like yourself, to build a base for self and afterwards you are able to build a foundation outside of personality. It is a role which one act in the environment of focus. In order to be victorious in leading at work, having strong individual leadership skills is vital. I believe that when we are able to take responsibility for decisions we are making in all areas of our life and we are making those decisions in our own best interest, we are better able to have a positive and inspiring impact on others. We are also able to be a role model for others in the leadership arena. There are three factors that force strong personal leadership skills. First is our mindset. Mindset is defined as, “A fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person’s responses to and interpretations of situations.” Having a positive attitude and perspective about personal leadership and making decisions that are in our best interest is our first step towards strong personal leadership skills. Having positive beliefs and potential about what will be the result when we make choices in your own best interest and setting intentions for positive outcomes are all part of having a positive mindset about personal leadership. The next important area is about our energy; how are we managing our energy?
