The first reason why plastic should be banned is, plastic is very expensive for example plastic is made from oil, oil is very expensive and you could get rich of of oil. Pollution has a huge effect on the environment. For example pollution is so bad that there is a new “continent” in the pacific ocean that is called the pacific vortex. The pacific vortex is made up of trash and plastic.
