Abstract— A quadrotor, or quadrotor helicopter, is an aircraft that becomes airborne due to the lift force provided by four rotors usually mounted in cross configuration, hence its name. They are of particular interest due to their small size, great maneuverability and hovering capability. However quadrotors have a limited payload capacity because they require four motors for operation, which consumes more power than conventional Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. This reduces the number of sensors and mission critical equipment they are able to carry. Due to this limitation researchers have turned to vision-based techniques for navigation of UAVs. Vision-based navigation provides a large number of useful features that extend quadrotors capabilities. They include the basic control functions of keeping the quadrotor roll and pitch angles stable (attitude control), controlling the vehicle trajectories when flying in free spaces (course stabilization), and keeping the altitude at proper height over ground. A color camera tracks the image features under the quadrotor and above ground. These blobs are located on a known geometric shape. Farmers provides care to plants and making sure they receive the right amount of care in hopes that they will cultivate enough product that can be distributed around the world. The agricultural revolution which took place between 1860 and 1910 help push the industry forward by providing ways with technology to increase the rate of production by evolving from hand labor to machine labor. The goal of this research is to help push robotics into agriculture. With autonomous robots it will provide a way maintain order and consistency.

US NEWS informs us, “Drones in Seattle and Miami are equipped with video cameras capable of taking daytime and nighttime video, as are drones used by the Texas Department of Public Safety.” In 1989 Supreme Court decision ruled that police may use helicopters to peer into semiprivate areas including the backyard of a house without first obtaining a warrant. The Congressional Research Service furthermore states “The legal issues discussed in this report will likely remain unresolved until the civilian use of drones becomes more widespread”. The fourth amendment prohibits any search and seizures without a warrant.

In order to shoot amazing clips from above ground, we need a drone/quadcopter with video camera capabilities. This idea came from our research phases. We witness professional cinematographers using drones to capture the breath-taking beauty of nature from above. In order to figure out what kind of shot we needed from an aerial drone, I (Toan) watched many examples of aerial shots from sources such as “Planet Earth”, clips from National Geographic, even clips from music videos. We very much wanted to include aerial clips in our project.

Trolley problem, initiated by Philippa Foot, is a situation in which there is a runaway trolley and the only way to save five people on the tracks is to sacrifice one person (Kvalnes, 2015). I will be mainly focusing on two companies; Raytheon and Northrop Grumman.
This is a police drone that has been helping law enforcement to find criminals or find lost hikers. This technology is so cost efficient that it replaced helicopters. Ben Miller, Director of Mesa County’s UAV program said, “We can fly 50-60ft off the ground and literally photo-map an entire crime scene.” (Cited, Lev Grossman 2013) It is a great little-advanced tool to document crime scenes more accurately, help to find clues quickly to prosecute criminals.

Even though driverless cars exist now and have been being tested on, many companies have not worked out all the bugs on them so driverless cars are yet to be released until companies can ensure the safety of the owners of the car and the other drivers on the road. Driverless cars could possibly lessen traffic and also lessen deaths and car accidents that happen around the world. Self driving cars were always a talk of the future and the future is now. A drone is a miniature aircraft and can be used in variety. Drones do not have enough space for a human pilot, so the drone is being controlled by technology. Cameras can be attached to any type of drone for video surveillance: protecting human lives. The surveillance cameras are important for not only civilian lives, but also military safety. Drones are able to
