Leadership is an important aspect of any organization or any individual and a good leadership is extremely essential to guide a team to success and prosperity.
A good leader has to possess a combination of numerous features.
First of all they have a clear vision of what they are trying to accomplish and are absolutely unparalleled at strategic planning. This is what distinguishes them from a manager and makes them leaders in true sense.
Thirdly, the quality of courage defines a leader. Courage means that you are willing to take risks in the achievement of your goals with no assurance of success. Because there is no certainty in life or business, every commitment you make and every action you take entails a risk of some kind. The first value

And it means that you give credit where credit is due.
Humility gets results. Larry Bossidy, the former CEO of Honeywell and author of the book Execution, explained why humility makes you a more effective leader:
“The more you can contain your ego, the more realistic you are about your problems. You learn how to listen, and admit that you don’t know all the answers. You exhibit the attitude that you can learn from anyone at any time. Your pride doesn’t get in the way of gathering the information you need to achieve the best results. It doesn’t keep you from sharing the credit that needs to be shared. Humility allows you to acknowledge your mistakes.”
Leaders always focus on the needs of the company and the situation. Leaders focus on results, on what must be achieved by themselves, by others, and by the company. Great leaders focus on strengths, in themselves and in others.
Your ability to get everyone working and pulling together is essential to your success. Leadership is the ability to get people to work for you because they want

A humble person sticks to the basics and is not prone to exaggeration. How much better off would we be today if the leaders of some of our fallen corporate behemoths had kept their heads out of the ozone and their feet on the ground?
Perhaps the most significant quality of humble leaders is their steady, clear-eyed perception of truth. A proud leader is prone to spreading and believing exaggerations—from little white lies to whopping falsehoods. Which high-powered modern leaders, intent on vanquishing foes and surmounting tall challenges, ever want to be known as humble? Not many—until, of course, they find out that humility is a critical first step on the path that leads to leadership success.
Picture a large oak tree, and notice that it has three parts: lush foliage, a sturdy trunk, and thick roots. While many may be preoccupied with the color of the leaves or the length of the branches, they fail to realize that without supportive roots, the tree fails to stand. This same concept can be applied to
“What leadership qualities should a chapter officer possess and which of those do you have. How will it help make a positive difference in the lives of Long Valley FFA members?” In today 's world the leaders are everything, from the president to the high school ffa officers. It is important to that are leaders have good responsibility and know how to make good choices.
Humility creates a vigorous
Having humility is a great thing to have. Even if someone is worse than Someone at something they don't say they are better or push them down. Humility is a very important trait to have. This is the theme that Runs through the story “Raymond's Run” By Toni Bambara because Humility makes you look like a good person. Humility makes you look like you acknowledge people and Humility allows better emotion control.
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way,” as said by John C. Maxwell. This reminds people about what it takes to be a great leader and has raised many controversies as to what a great leader is. Qualities like decisiveness, confidence, focus, and consistency are necessary to make a leader. Virtue, which is a behavior showing high moral standards , is not one of the necessary qualities. By analyzing literature and history, a person can still be a good and effective leader without virtue because they are consistent, credible, and have a vision of their goals.
According to Lencioni (2016), “Humility is the single greatest and most indispensable attribute of being a team player” (p. 157). Humility is a form of integrity. When a team player is humble they do not have egos, neither are they concerned about their status. When a team player is humble, they tend to point out the contributions of others and do not highlight the contribution of their own. The success of the team is collectively not an individual effort.
Humility may be the most difficult quality to learn and maintain. As a society we reward arrogance and “attitude”; and our heroes tend to be loud and brash sports figures, millionaire developers, movie stars, and the like-those kinds of people who don’t know, or don’t want to know what humility is (Marshall,
To me, leadership mean being responsible and someone who can manage time really well. A leader can walk their followers to the right path of success. Someone who is in control because of their personality of trustworthiness and always deliberative from the world which is unpredictable. I currently exhibit leadership while working on any project for my college or high school classes. I take the role of a leader and always work diligently enough to get good compliments from peers and instructors.
Sympathy is not a valid basis for compromising one’s values. Both kindness and strength are imperative aspects of a successful leadership, and I hope to illustrate each in poise. The ambition to complete tasks and improve all aspects within a system is a significant element of success. The ability to create and implement an idea within a team setting is what defines a leader.
An important concept can be taken from observing these two examples, and that is that there is more to leadership than securing the office or simply the position. Being a good leader is an art; constantly striven toward, never fully
Humility is important because it motivates me to look for ways to improve, and accept that I will always have more to learn. I have completed seventy hours of volunteering before the beginning of my junior year. My fifty hours of service at the Shapleigh Community Library has shown me that mutual respect and humility for different age groups creates a positive working environment. As a ski school instructor at Mount Cranmore working with young skiers, I learned the power of patience and humor while maintaining safety. Mount Cranmore has invited me back to work this winter
Leadership is can mean different things to different people. To me, leadership is more than having a title and subordinates. Leadership is having the courage to make the right choices, engage others in a vision, and empower your subordinates with a shared purpose and to achieve positive impacts. Leadership can also be relational which means it takes teamwork, requires you to be able to work with others in various backgrounds and that may have difference perspectives. Leadership also requires continuous learning, discerned decision making, and savvy communication skills.
As a result, the secret to “success and fulfillment may very well lie in the ability to express humility”
There are many different views and perceptions on leadership and what it exactly means. This is because there are many different types of leaders and many different views on them. But the basic meaning of leadership is an individual who can select the right group of followers and influence them through their distinct gifts, abilities, skills and knowledge. A leader focuses on the follower and puts out a roadmap to the overall mission and vision; hereby the follower is influenced to willingly and enthusiastically in achieving the mission and vision. The leader achieves this influence by humbly delivering a visionary perception of the future in clear terms that resonates with the follower in terms of their believes and values.
Introduction Leadership is the art of empowering people around you to achieve a goal. As a leader I want to help others become leaders themselves. I firmly believe that by leading based on my values this will be accomplished. I have had many leadership influences throughout my career. Some of them showed me the way I wanted to someday lead and others showed me exactly how not to.
Great leaders are genuine and authentic: These leaders know who they are and they are not afraid to let others see their core values, their strengths, and their weaknesses. They are transparent and let everyone know in a way that is seen as “real” and genuine. 4. Effective leaders have a professional presence: Great leaders have a way of being “in the moment”, both in a group setting (on stage) and in individual interactions. They pay attention, listen, ask great questions, and make everyone feel like there are being heard and valued.
